I agree with it all, but this part I want to confirm. I have to drive 2 states away for a race shop, and I've started doing that. My first helmet I did my best via a snowmobile/dirtbike shop, ordering & trying on - it sucked. Balls. Hard.
Yup, I end up classing with NB miatas generally. Tend to get beat in dry, and take the class in wet.

So, I normally would assume as much, but the fact that they have the electronic dash set up with those inputs makes me assume it's both being monitored with sensors in place, and being sent across one of the non-standard OBD2 bus's. Just not sure if those are accessible without turning into a...
