The diameter of the friction surface is larger on the FK8 clutch/flywheel. FK8 clutch related parts aren't compatible with FE1 clutch related parts.

It looks like they are gonna try and retrofit FL5/FK8 brakes to the Si.

The one thing I would try to refrain from doing is low RPM + high load. Low RPM + low load is usually fine, either downshift or bring the RPM up a bit before going full throttle. Low RPM and high load is a recipe for pre-detonation, use premium fuel if you insist on doing it.

I would just get the Sirimoto CMC kit. comes with an all new Willwood CMC and stainless clutch line.

A good set of high performance summer tires is likely your best bet.

So... is it a true 3" connection at the front pipe or not?

@ValkenDnB do you have any pics of the part that bolts up to the front pipe? I'm possibly interested in purchasing one of these exhausts and was wondering if it was a true 3" pipe where it meets the front pipe. The Remark is 2.5" then expands to 3".

@Sara/AWE is the downpipe connection a true 3"? For example it would potentially bolt up to a true 3" aftermarket downpipe without any bottleneck?

No, there is still preload on the spring once the top nut is seated completely. I was able to push the top hat down by hand to get the nut started without any compressors.
