I'm pretty sure this kit that's being released at the end of the month has a recirc and isn't vent to atmosphere, thus not subject to the issues you noted above.

I'm not worried at all about ECU removal but it seems like other people are - am I missing something here? As long as I am careful about the pins, I see no issues.

I wish there was one that had a door at the top that you can open up to service the filter. Having to disassemble the intake just to clean the filter is stupid (PRL here)
