beautiful. i was literally just thinking about this yesterday if this was possible. i’ve been putting off doing mine because i didn’t want to mess with the rear seat. thank you!
hahaha. like my rx-7. the back end want’s to go sideways lol
i’m not very used to rear wheel drive
cars i barely drive the thing.
yep you got it. just keep doing that. if you can help it and not have to ever shift into first unless you are lugging second too much, i think that is the best...
yep. it’s pretty cool once someone mentioned it to me and i noticed it. 1-2 yes i don’t do it perfectly everytime, but 2-6 with rev match on it makes it very consistent with that needle falling and kinda holding at the rpm it needs to be at. it’s almost dummy proof really. i love it.
left foot breaking is so sketchy lol. it’s funny how weird it feels with the left foot.
yes, just too low for the gear. definitely down shift if it’s lugging. you’re doing good it sounds
like though. especially for the first week. it will be much more natural fairly soon.
but how? lol my brain doesn’t understand that. if the car instantly revs itself, how can you also rev it as well? other than maybe over revving where it wants to be? sorry man kinda newb question lol. only time i blip the throttle is when i absolutely have to shift down into first from second...
oh goodness! i haven’t been able to get along with turning the rev match system off. i guess i shift too slow. the revs falls so fast compared to with the rev match system i guess i just can’t figure it out, so i just leave it on. it literally jerks in every gear when i shift without revmatch...
the fl5 likes being shifted into second at 3k and under rpm’s. you do that and you can be slow and it will be smooth all the time. anything over 3k you just gotta hold that clutch pedal down and wait for the revs to drop some. the fl5 does not like to be shifted quickly into second. if you rev...
this is good advice. i never knew a manual would take off in first with just slowly releasing the clutch with no gas. if i ever teach someone that’s exactly how i will probably teach them to start. that’s the hardest part is just getting moving lol
really debating or not to get 275’s also once my tires are worn out. almost there. I want to stay with 19’s and no springs or spacers, so i’m kinda hoping with the 35 side wall it will be a touch better ride and also being a 275 will help space it out a bit. does this mess with the speedometer...
