Standard civic is also slow. Id assume they would revamp chassis and powertrain on that just as they did with the civic.

Could be that this is the last civic Type R for a bit and then the prelude will carry the Type R name in the meantime.

Cant speak for other intakes, but i definitely hear my PRL intake even with the windows up. And with the windows down its quite loud (in a good way!)
