Good post! Definitely outlines the benefits of having this turbo. It's not only about peak HP,but also the effects that the turbo has on the power band. It's clear this turbo out performs the stock turbo in every sense. Can't wait to slap this bad boy on my Si!

A turbo can fail for many reasons. If some one was running Ktuner's basemap, i'd lean closer to the failure being due to abuse or due to a manufacturer defect/issue on the turbo before ever looking at the basemap. Especially when you consider how conservative it is. The boost levels on these...

I'd presume that you'd max out the timing that's allowed in each map that's included with the tune (1, 2 & 3), however, only D-rob, or TSP can confirm this question with 100% confidence

Correct! The TSP Stage 2 tune will reach 100% timing advance allowed within the tune at 37% ethanol. Anything beyond that will not provide additional power. However, it will not hurt anything if you're at e40.

Indeed it will be!! :) It will be fun! You know, honestly I haven't. When I received the tune, I unchecked the VSA box with the mistaken knowledge of it being the one that disables Sport Mode. But it appears that's not the case. I have yet to check the VSA box like it was when I got the tune.

The tune has Boost by gear set up. I believe it's 18 lb's in 1st. 2nd...... i'm not sure what its limited to, but I know it's not 24.5. This is normal to help traction amongst other things.

Ended up getting this tune. I'll be doing a review between this tune, and Vit's Stage 1 soon!
