  1. Has anyone tried powder coating the OEM forged FL5 wheels?

Thanks guys. Good to at least get some validation that the gunmetal on SGP may not be a bad combo..
  2. Has anyone tried powder coating the OEM forged FL5 wheels?

I'm dead set on replacing my stock wheels with the OEM forged ones. They match so perfectly to what I'm trying to do with the car which is to be OEM+. But my issue is that I have a Sonic Grey Pearl FL5, and I'm REALLY indifferent to the gunmetal on grey/green pearlescent. In my opinion it just...
  3. Rev Match On or Off

Sadly I am not. but for reference I am a size 12 and i use the foot rollover method since I cannot tweak my heel over like the real drivers can.
  4. Rev Match On or Off

Is this car's pedal box actually bad for heel toe? Not my first manual car but my first car learning how to heel toe in - so I don't have much for reference Sometimes I'm really nice with the heel toes and other times i botch them. Always thought it was a skill issue. Am I nerfing myself by not...
  5. Bummed so far with FL5 aftermarket exhaust sound

IMO, Remus sounds the best. Most if not all of these aftermarket exhausts are way too raspy and just make more noise for the sake of it - but the Remus sounds actually tasteful. Unfortunately it can be pretty hard and expensive to source so I opted for the front res delete and am pretty happy...
  6. Camber Plates with springs

dumb question, but better safe than sorry - on stock suspension with the strut tower pins pulled, my speed shop was able to get -2.1 degrees of camber up front. should that still have clearance for any lowering spring setup?
  7. FL5 interior dash piece damage

wow. where is this from? and is it an overlay or does it replace the whole piece?
  8. Brake fluid leaking from bleeder

couldn't tell you. i can dm them and see if they remember. but what exactly would that have to do with the leaking?
  9. Brake fluid leaking from bleeder

They are the ones that told me the torque spec was 10 lbft and that's what they followed. What could've happened before that, idk.... All I have are Craftsman 3/8 and 1/2 torque wrenches so maybe I'll have to get something smaller I agree on that last part. I truly think it could be some...
  10. Brake fluid leaking from bleeder

I did not do any of the work. All I've done so far clean the area. I don't even have the right crowfoot adapter for my torque wrench so I ordered that now. Once I get that I can then verify the torque spec. I contacted the shop yesterday to see if they can check it out. And they informed me...
  11. Brake fluid leaking from bleeder

In August I had a local Honda speed shop flush my factory brake fluid with Castrol SRF in preparation for my track day later that month. After the track day, I noticed a slight trail of brake fluid running down the caliper. I contacted the shop and we both agreed that it was perhaps some...
  12. FL5 interior dash piece damage

To be fair, it was one of my detailers henchmen. The main guy himself is great. But every time one of his guys touches the car, some corners are cut. With that said I did confront him and even told him my experiences of when his guys are working on my car. He said he'll think of a remedy
  13. FL5 interior dash piece damage

I agree to an extent. My exterior is thrashed from all the canyon and track driving. This is different because these scratches weren't caused by normal use nor was I the one to cause them. It's annoying to go to my detailer (they take care of cars) to have this happen.
  14. FL5 interior dash piece damage

Given the nature of the surface it's on, my detailer said it might cause more harm than good
  15. FL5 interior dash piece damage

In that case I'll see what I can do. I also wanted to take this opportunity to get an actually good looking overlay but I don't think that's possible. These glossy carbon ones are kind of ugly imo...
