It's got a 19.5 oz capacity, which is definitely less than OEM but it also has to fit in that space behind the headlight.

That is with the HKS China Kit, which I could be wrong on but I think was heavily influenced by the prototype of my dual OC kit I was running and shared pictures of. It used that area with ducting to provide air to the cores. I knew there was a decent chance it would get copied if I shared...

Seems to just be an odd design feature on the HKS from what I can see looking at a couple of pictures online.

It's actually a graphene coating which is supposed to enhance thermal conductivity. Will it have a large positive impact? Probably not, but it's not going to hurt performance and that's the main goal. Maybe it helps a little. It's more for those who want the black aesthetic.
