I see, Iāll have to look into those, I wonder how long they last, I saw a Spoon set in my brief research but that seemed like overkill and would make the ride more harsh than it can be already. Any reputable companies that make good products? As I said, new to modding and have really no...
forgive my ignorance but how does one āadjustā what youāre ānot supposed to adjustā, asking for a friend.
That being said the car felt pretty good this weekend with only a few times where it felt a bit off. Itās hard to pin down this feeling, gonna try it out again this upcoming weekend (80...
, my independent shop has been good to me and given me no reason not to trust them, I plan on taking out the car later this afternoon and tomorrow when itās dry and the sun finally pops out to test on some back roads. Depending on that I may have my independent look at it again just to be sure...
The weather is finally picking up and it should be warm this weekend, gonna take her out on some back roads and see how she feels but in day to day traffic idk man, it feels lifeless sometimes.
the dealer looked it over and their service manager say everything is tight, no play in the rack...
personally put air in myself
Same oem PS4 default tires put on, doubt itās those
Alignment has been done twice, where should toe be at? Iām not great at reading an alignment sheet but I do have the one they did after the rack.
Iād certainly hope not, it would really make me question the reliability of Honda overall if they have every other rack fail.
but the car was seen today by the service manager at my dealer. He drove it and also gave the car a solid once over while in the air and under to hood to check for any...
I see, I think Iām feeling a bit of that after the recall. As I said previously, Iāve daylied the car for over two years at this point, and while I didnāt feel like it had sticky steering if it did, Iām wondering if thatās why I feel such a big discrepancy in how the handling and steering...
I find it interesting the dealer states this is cosmetic and āhow itās supposed to beā, from my homework on the subject it seems like dealers, when encountering this issue, straight up replace the rack no questions asked. I find it disconcerting that your dealer is playing it off as a standard...
Hey friends.
In another thread I have gone over my experience having my Type R go through a worm gear recall, and shortly thereafter, a full rack replacement. Before any of this I drove the car for two years not having it done. I simply saw no issue in the steering and thought it felt firm...
Service manager took it surprisingly seriously. He agreed to reimburse me the money for having it looked at elsewhere and we have an apt to look at it with him and the shop foreman this week.
Iām honestly shocked he didnāt try and fuck me on this, will keep yall updatedā¦
Donāt fret, already told their service manager Iāll be in there tomorrow morning. I expect to at least be reimbursed for the money I spent having another shop go over their sloppy execution.
Welp; small update. After having my rack replaced the steering has felt justā¦off. But itās hard to pin down other than just āa feeling.ā
that being said I took it to an independent Honda shop I trust and had them go over the suspension components at the front to make sure everything was tight...
