I pulled the flap valve fuse to keep it open, and then later modified the exhaust which eliminates the factory muffler, leaving the flap valve connector un-plugged.
The car eventually threw a P16EB code. Auto-zone couldn't read it or reset it.
The Honda dealer didn't like the modification...
Mine threw a code P16EB.
I first pulled the fuse but with the connector in place. Later I modified the exhaust and so the connector is no longer plugged in. It took a while but threw the code. Autozone couldn't read it or reset it. Honda didn't like the modification and told me that the car...
No, other dealers wanted $10K over. Now I think you can find them at MSRP just about anywhere in the midwest. Ohio in particular. I got mine at Honda in North Olmstead. OH
My 2024 has 5,100 miles on it and the check engine rev match problem light came on for the first time today. I jumped into it in 2nd gear and it spun quickly and hit the rev limiter, and then the lights came on. After disconnecting the battery overnight, the lights remain on. Took it to...
I don't have the receipts any longer but you can find it all on Summit's online cat.
The flowmaster is pretty easy to find. The pipes are, I think they were 2" and had to use an adapter for the muffler inlet. and a 45 degree bend.
I still have the resonators but would like to remove one or...
The 2 45 degree bent pipes and tips with clamps were only $100.
I first tried this setup with a shorty muffler ... which added another $100. >
... but it didn't leave me enough room to get the S bend pipe in place, so I ended up just doing a straight pipe which actually works about as well...
I put mine together from Summit Racing parts. Cost me around $100. I also disabled the flap valve. Sounds great, is lighter and looks much better than the factory setup IMO.
I upgraded my horns and since I had the bumper off I put some additional screen (it was actually Home Depot black gutter screen that cost about $5) across the lower intercooler and radiator. It's pretty stealthy and looks good.
I am hoping they make the rear end a bit more sporty / pleasing, change the interior to black or gray with red accents, integrate the display into the dash and make the car an AWD ... and reduce the price by $10,000
Thanks for the info.
I was checking out the Phearable website. The Stage 2 tune for 93 octane looks pretty amazing. What is the difference between the Hondata base map tune and the Phearable tunes? Does the Phearable tune require dyno tuning to maximize power or is it just as easy as a...
In case Honda is reading this thread (and they might be) I'd like to see a few updates:
1. Throw in a limited slip rear wheel drive system if you have time, adjustable from 0 to 100%.
2. Raise the redline to 15,000 rpm with 600 hp and a sequential shift 6 speed with a strong clutch.
3...
