The valve is controlled by RPM, throttle position, as well as the "Engine" setting
This post has the various valve positions across different drive modes: https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/there%E2%80%99s-a-reason-honda-made-active-exhaust-don%E2%80%99t-disable.53334/post-887033
I tried the Spigen screen protector on my FL5, and ended up removing it after a few minutes as it made the clarity of the screen worse (matte screen protector + matte finish on the OEM screen).
I now don't use a screen protector and havent noticed any scratches on it yet
It may be possible but I wouldn't. jack the back, replace back with the spare. Then lower car and jack the front and replace the flat with the wheel from the back.
Apparently this BMW spare will fit under the trunk floor without raising up the floor since the wheel is only 5" wide.. has anyone tried it in their FL5?

Thanks for the charts. Do these correlate to the "Engine" setting or the "Engine Sound" setting? I haven't found a definitive answer on which setting changes the valve behavior
Has anyone managed to repair minor curb rash on their FL5 OEM matte black wheels? I have a minor rash on one of my wheels and was wondering the best way to repair them as it has a matte finish. Is there a Honda paint code for the wheels for finding some touch up paint?
This is probably my favorite exhaust for the fl5 Ive heard so far. However it sounds like there is some rattling/vibration noise, can be heard around the 1:30 min mark in the video. That would drive me nuts
