  1. Do you regret any mods?

The FL5 has taken me extremely long to modify because it's REALLY good stock. I regret not doing a more aggressive drop, H&R springs ride fantastic but another .25 inches would probably be perfect.
  2. ALL SEASON TIRES ON MY FL5 FOR WINTER

265/30s work fine in the snow. Just had a squal out in Pittsburgh that I drove in this morning. I was actually kind of confused at the lack of sliding in the R.

  5. Fourth to third shift, 75ish MPH

Muscle memory requires engaging in the activity. You can't learn how to drive a manual on YouTube 😂
  6. Ohlin DFV Height & Ride Quality

In my experience, which is pretty much every single car in the Type R segment, having an experienced shop dial in your coils is the way to go. I told my race shop I wanted an aggressive street setup for my 370Z Nismo on Tein Mono's, and it rode perfectly. The shop also races Porsches on the...

Key word there is minimum. At idle a healthy engine is over 20 and well over 60psi at 3000 rpm
  10. Debris in Oil Change - am I cooked fellas

You will have a significant amount of break in metal in the first 20k miles. Unless you do a handful of changes in the first 5k miles you will gradually see wear metals trend down. If you open an oil filter after break in you will see metal all over the filter element

  13. I hate seeing posts about Type R's getting stolen. Here are a few good/inexpensive products to keep your car safe!

I live in a part of the country with castle law and specifically a neighborhood where a majority are Veterans. A home invasion would be considered very unwise and doesn't happen 😅

  16. For occasional track use , which oil viscosity to use? Using oil data sheet for guidance

One thing forsure is don't base an oils performance on flash point.... flash point is used so first responders know in the even of an accident. NOACK is a test used to show an oils evaporation, not flash point. Even that is still up for debate on if It really helps valve deposits. Motul 300v...
  17. New Exhaust Options

There's a single and dual tip for the FL5. It's still over 100 dB with the dual though.
