I don’t have specific dyno numbers, but this modification has made the most noticeable difference in power compared to all the other bolt-ons I’ve added to the car. These include the PRL HVI, PRL titanium intake, PRL intercooler, PRL front pipe, and APEXi exhaust.
AST 5100 coilovers installed yesterday. They are, without a doubt, a great improvement over OEM. If you intend to DIY a set for yourself, they come with no instructions. Also, be sure to know whether you want the adjustable camber plates. A few sites show the adjustable camber plates in the...
FYI, I am putting the AST 5100s on my FL5 and have learned that shorter end links are required with the front coilovers. No instructions from AST lead to me discovering this in the middle of installation. Amazing quality product, lacking in documentation.
Mugen license plate fasteners: the most performance-driven mod yet, ha! Also, Titanium bolts for the strut tower, and the PRL titanium inlet system. Fun stuff. This has all been a fun project for my 14 year old daughter and I. She loves it, learns a lot, and we have fun. I am grateful.
Was a fun, albeit rainy day. The Hondata people are fantastic! Thank you for supporting a great event. All of my FL5 bolt-ons will now deliver their true value thanks to Hondata.
Interesting. I have the Apexi exhaust and love it. I intentionally avoided overtly loud exhaust. I find this exhaust to be perfect. It is of course a matter of taste and preference.
Fun weekend. A’Pexi exhaust, PRL front pipe, Accord mirror with home link. As many have said, nuts that a $50k car didn’t have the mirror.
A few weeks ago I did a PRL HV intake and the forged Type R wheels. I poured over wheel options and I feel these wheels are gorgeous. And no, not looking to...
One other very important detail ... if you are out of CA you might not pay tax which, for a $2400 item is not insignificant. I am in PA and thus benefitted from this. Other dealers may charge tax to the state in which you reside.
Hey all, I have poured over the different FL5 exhaust options and cannot get over how great the A'PEXi - N1 Evo Extreme looks on the FL5. Not to mention, as someone who's first tuned Civic was a '93 hatchback, I have affinity for the A'PEXi brand. I am located in Pittsburgh, but will of course...
oh, cool. I will check them out. I am thinking through how far I want to take the FL5, digging through exhaust and other options and want to find a shop to build a relationship with. What about meetups? Do you take the car out anywhere?
