Acura tends to not to partner with aftermarket companies unless it for their factory-built race cars or like cars for SEMA. The HRC DE5 is the first Acura of its kind, where Acura actively worked with multiple aftermarket parts developers/manufacturers to improve performance and will eventually...
The market for the DE5 is exponentially smaller than the FL5. The DE5 is North American market only, they’d either have to buy one and ship it to Japan, send out a team out to collect data or partner with an American company. The return on investment wouldn’t be worth the effort. A couple...
More pics of the Garage Vary FL5 Front lip. Definitely has the most coverage of all the lips I’ve seen.
For anyone wondering those headlights are from Alpharex. They’ll be available in Japan this spring and in the US hopefully later this
through their US distributor.
Quick Video of the Garage Vary FL5, showcasing new headlights, carbon hood vent, very aggressive carbon front lip, aggressive side skirts, rear spats and rear wing
HKS debuted a bunch of parts for their demo FL5 including oil cooler, carbon side mount oil cooler duct, intake, front splitter, rear spats with side splitters and front strut tower bar.
Seeker also debuted some Aero pieces and the new CE28 SL N-Plus at Tokyo Auto Salon. I already have their tailgate lip on my car.
Rear wing looks right up my alley.
I'm sure it's going to be effective at improving cooling and aero performance, but boy this thing looks like a front bumper from Need For Speed Underground 2 that you skip over every chance you get lol.
Certainly not their finest work.
The odds aren't in your favor for CBP. They're actually reducing production on that color because demand for it has been lower than Red. Rick Case got only 3 Rally Red FL5s in 2024 and 1 Crystal Black Pearl. In 2023, they got 3 Crystal Black Pearl and 0 Rally Red.
There will be a MY26 FL5, MY27 I have to confirm but I don't see why there wouldn't be. 2027 would be the final model year since the 12th Gen civic comes out after that. Contrary to what some might see or believe online, FL5s are selling well even with dealer markups.
So Manabu Orido aka Max Orido has a lip kit in the works for the FL5 that’ll debut at Tokyo Auto Salon 2025 under the Ridox brand.
Loving the way it looks, still gonna keep my Garage Unique front lip unless the roads say otherwise.
