I heard the audio of this exhaust already installed, not even impressed. Sounds like stock for 2600$ lol. Even though they include muffler garnish to clean up the diffuser, was a never was a fan of a single exit exhaust.
I understand that, but that fact that these engine performance parts are literally interchangeable in between the K20C1 and K20C8 chassis. You’d think Acura work something out or at least collaborate with a company or two.
Yeah! I appreciate the support that we’ve been getting regardless. Our FL5’s being made in Japan makes it even more special over the Integra Type S in my opinion.
I remember when it first came out.. people were saying the FL5 looks bland or not aggressive enough from factory. Now we have so...
I think it’s funny how the Type R is getting so much aftermarket support these past two years compared to the Type S, even saw a few FK8’s as well. I could be wrong but I haven’t seen not one Type S DE5 in any social media posts/stories regarding TAS 25’ lol.
Seems like there is a new prototype design that I saw in TAS 25’ today. Now it’s on the passenger side for the FL5 instead of on top of the charge pipe in the FK8 version. I wonder how this would work, especially if someone were to use a recirculating kit, given that they make one for the Super SQV.
It’s not that bad honestly, but it’s not crazy good in regard to aesthetics. I mean it’s the first full aftermarket bumper in the wild. Plus I’m sure just like the FK8, it’s possible for Varis to make second kit or a wide body design in the future.
But I agree with the S2k. The fact that It’s...
It’s not a K20C1 engine that was being used in the video, I think it’s a built K20 bottom with a K24 head from 4P.
Surprised to see rockers/cams (which was previously on another built 4P engine they had, that also failed) being used for a new one.. whether it was still properly inspected prior...
Despite the stiffer spring rates over the Pro kit, ride quality is still comfortable imo. I actually have the ITS ADS module on hand too, but haven’t installed it yet, since downsizing to 18’s and 35 sidewall already does a good job in increasing the comfort. Swapping the module should make it...
I’m sure most, if not all, aftermarket wheels have a conical/tapered lug seat. Don’t use the ones with your OEM wheels as they are a ball/radius style.
I already had my 18” wheels before installing my springs. Even with beefy 275/35’s, I didn’t like the horrendous wheel gap it had with OEM springs, so I decided to take the more aggressive approach and get Eibach’s Sportlines over their Pro Kit. No regrets, especially since I’m not rubbing at all.
Are those the ones that poke out a lot? I think those stick out way too much and doesn’t tapper cleanly to the fender. I know looks are subjective, but i’m running flush fitment with my wheels and to me it would look odd when you have mud guards aggressively poking out way more than your...
That’s the one of the bad things about the K20C1.. it’s pretty hard to make these Type R’s sound decent without too much raspiness, due to the integrated exhaust manifold that’s built into the head or so called “headifold”, the only way to really alter or change the sound is downpipe and...
Interesting, not bad for the price I guess. I’m sure no matter what the design or what company your mud flaps are from, any form of protection is better a costly paint correction down the road.
Funny because I used to have Sukebans Design flaps when they first came out a year and a half ago, I had the ventilated cut outs, since the minimal version wasn’t even a thing.
But now I’ve upgraded to FX3D’s newest design (version 3.1) which’s solves one of the problems I didn’t like with...
