I have the wheel protection package from the dealer sold me backed by Allstate. You send a copy of it to the repair shop of your choice and they are supposed to make a claim. I got a new PS4S tire and a wheel repair covered through it last year.

The first few days I had a bunch of rattles and squeaks, especially in the dash and around the side windows, but after driving around a bunch they all went away. I didn't do anything to try to fix them. Just wanted to mention to maybe let it settle before taking things apart :p

I also have an android and just experienced the issue with android auto not connecting. It kept saying device not compatible (despite it having worked the entire time I've owned the car til now). I had to reboot the infotainment system to fix it.

I got mine from Cambridge Honda a few months ago for $5k ADM. I don't know if they have more allocations or not though.

I think I'm one of the minority that did the whole car, but I decided to do Xpel Stealth. All the piano black pieces were done in Xpel Ultimate. Here's some photos if you're curious.

The detailer will remove it. They told me to have the dealer leave it on, and not washing it saves them a day of work during paint correction.

It arrived! Told the dealer not to wash it or prep the exterior. It will be going to a detailer shortly.

I agree, I think the paint will keep its properties of changing in different lighting, but will just be a matte texture. I do plan on having the detailer place a piece of film on the car to see how it looks so we'll see if that's true or not.

I believe you can get the film removed, but it would be a very expensive mistake 💸

Yup I've visited the detailer and saw a bunch of their work. It is very good. They did walk me through a bunch of things and offered to hold a piece of stealth on the car to let us see how it would look when we bring it in. They thought it would look good on the SGP as well. Part of the reason...

Thanks for the notes. It's being installed by a very reputable detailer so it's not going to be a cheap job. The cost is not so much an issue as long as it ends up looking good and not have issues down the line.
