Think it's been said, but bears repeating, you don't need to remove the rear seat to do this. Move up the corner of the seat, take out the 10mm bolt, put the seat down and take the little cover off the side trim, take the 10mm bolt off and the trim piece will come off with some love.

almost all track pads get a leading and trailing edge if you don't rotate them when possible.
in terms on inner wearing more, just maybe because it's closer to the master cylinder and gets the fluid a tick faster allowing the piston to bite just that much quicker. The calipers are the same...
Most things you are struggling with comes with time and experience. You're quickly picking things up, so just continue to learn as you go.
In terms of PS4S, in the manual for my Elantra N, they recommended 35 hot for the PS4S when on track, so you were doing the right thing there.

LogR has tons of nice data, BUT it's slow and usually sync between video and data are off, and there's no way to extract the data to use somewhere else.
Solo Storm is probably the best choice in terms of logger for AutoX and CircuitStorm for Tracks.

Early FK8s had one piece, and they lived to tell the story. you'll be good either way. It's HPDE not national time attack, even then I think it would be fine as most use centric blanks on other platforms anyway
Porsches have had success with a DSC module, even on coilovers. on the MK7 Golf R, it was great, but gave issues and they never seemed to correct them.
the e-clik i believe is similar.
They both allow you to adjust the dampers within their range.
