Does the Type S module help with the pogoing in corners? I donāt know if thatās just a product of stiff suspension, but I find it annoying even on the street.
I canāt speak from experience, but I understand the custom tunes are quite a step up from the off the shelf Hondata map. Hondata probably made theirs as a one tune fits all, where someone like Jester is looking at your your personal datalogs and dialing everything in specifically for your car...
I canāt imagine youāre going to do any damage dropping it from 12ā. Hard to say why it seems so loud without hearing it. Maybe the rubber stops are not adjusted properly, but that seems doubtful.
Iāll be using GM Syncromesh because I bought enough for 2 fluid changes a couple of years ago when I had my Accord. I just found it recently after completely forgetting about itš. My FL5 has 10k on the clock now, I guess I should change it fairly soon?
I've always wondered the same thing about whatever amount of 87 being leftover in the hose. My solution is to squirt 1/4 gallon of fuel into the garbage can before filling my tank. ;) Kidding of course, but I am actually curious about this question.
As far as running the tank low, I can't...
Iāll be installing a downpipe soon when I take my car out of storage and Iād rather not have any surprises. The new downpipe only includes the downpipe to front pipe gasket, which I assume means that the turbo to downpipe gasket is reusable.
Have any of you had a leak after reusing the...
I never tried anything with the TCU disconnected because I was just dealing with the buzzing at the time. I ended up putting some foam strips in between the TCU and itās mounting bracket to keep a little tension between them.
I donāt, but itās very easy. Youāll need some interior trim removal tools to pry up the center dash speaker behind the infotainment screen. Once that is out of the way, the TCU will be right there under the dash. The bracket is fastened with 2 screws with 8mm heads. Remove the screws and...
I had the TCU out last Spring to deal with it buzzing during a certain RPM window. Itās right under the center dash speaker and very easy to remove. Iāll be following this thread to see what you do with that little rat.
Iāve been slowly consuming your podcasts, and even though I donāt track my car (maybe someday), Iām really enjoying listening to what you all have to say. Iāve heard the first episode, and I just watched the one with Robert. Great insight and what a great group of guys!
Thank you guys for...
Iād like to hear more about your intake setup! Looks similar to what Gambit made, but I see a few differences. How much of an improvement in IAT have you seen so far? Can you monitor your fuel trims to see how much compensation is happening?
Nice work!
