I did a drain & fill @ 22,500 miles and used Amsoil Synchromesh 5w-30 MTF without issue.

I had mine hardwired.

I had mine professionally installed and while I can't specifically tell you how they worked it my installer figured it out. He did however comment it was kind of a pain in the a$$ to do .

I just ordered one myself. I'm not too keen on removing the bumper , but I for sure would rather have a front lip that bolts on to one those lips that use 3M tape as the main fastener.

Never had 1st gear lockout although every once in awhile I would get reverse lockout until someone suggested simply row into any other gear and then to reverse and it will go in like butter.
