I looked at this a couple days ago, good video. Watching FL5 reviews on YT never gets old to me even though I own the car and have seen too many videos to count.
Reliable MPG data is something you're not going to be able to find. Also, your best bet is to spend some time searching the forums, the Hondata website, YouTube, and their IG for information. I'm all for dialogue and exhange of ideas and information but you need to do some of the leg work and...
KTuner does not support the FL5. Hondata and Cobb Tuning are your options. Also, I suggest conducting a bit of research on the tuning platforms. There's quite a bit of information out there.
Based on your use case, I would skip most of the modifications on the list and approach your mod path incrementally. Add intake and exhaust (no downpipe) and tune the car on pump gas. In the canyons, a 3,1XX lb sedan making ~55whp and ~65wtq will be plenty satisfying. The intake and exhaust are...
It's slim pickings with respect to exhaust videos; however, there are some out there. If you scour YouTube, FB, and IG you will find a handful. Just a heads up, watch the weight if that's something you care about.
I agree on the look. The exhaust tips tucking up nicely under the diffuser is a much a better look IMHO - clean, organic. The tips sticking out screams aftermarket and it looks especially odd because the tips are so large. I'm sure it's fine for some folks.
I wanted to share the below link I came across recently that made me think of this thread. I understand this may be viewed as a "one off" and not necessarily representative of the AWE product; however, this is not an isolated quirk either. Enough people have reported fitment, quality, customer...
FWIW, that website and Steven Machett's that we all heavily relied on at some point are effectively defunct and have been for months. Apparently Honda changed the API endpoints and the complete and accurate dataset is no longer available and/or reliable.
You have Team FL5, Team DE5, and you...
That J's Racing 70RR was known to be an ear bleeder. Reminds of me of those Buddy Club exhausts from back in the day. You take it to redline a few times in a B-series or early K-series (K20A2/Z1) and your ears were ringing!
