  1. Clutch options for high HP/TQ

Nice! Be sure to let us know what you think once you get it on the road. 👍
  2. FL5 Type R owner - new to modding!

Yes that is correct. On a basic bolt on car we see an average of 3-5whp greater with custom dyno tuning vs our TSP Stage 1 tune but once you venture into upgraded turbocharger territory a custom tune will then be required.
  3. FL5 Type R owner - new to modding!

One great thing about this platform is that there are so many ways you can build it and enjoy it! Since January of 2023 I’ve had the opportunity of testing numerous turbochargers and countless other modifications while daily driving the car, long weekends in the mountains, and having fun at the...
  4. FL5 Type R owner - new to modding!

The Kuro turbocharger is the perfect choice for someone that wants to get the most out of their factory fuel system. On 93 octane you can expect around 425whp with the supporting mods you listed. This is a comfortable level for the factory fuel system and you will be left with a much nicer...
  5. Mountain Road Trip

Looks like a ton of fun!
  6. TSP silicone inlet

While I can't say that was my intent, it's certainly not a bad idea! The carbon inlet tubes are super nice.
  7. TSP silicone inlet

Great question. It will not fit. This kit is specifically designed for connecting the PRL HVI to the PRL inlet pipe. Any PRL HVI (plastic or carbon) and any PRL inlet pipe (titanium or carbon) is fine. Because of differences in fitment and positioning we cannot confirm fitment with any other...
  8. TSP silicone inlet

Bingo! The Race MAF housing existed to facilitate measurement of additional airflow. This can be accomplished with the native FL5/DE5 MAF sensor, simplifying the process for all due to there no longer being a need for a larger housing or alternative sensor.
  9. TSP silicone inlet

It is fair to expect improved airflow but we do expect any performance differences to be somewhat minimal. This product was designed mostly for improving the appearance under the hood by getting rid of the plastic OEM elbow piece.
  10. TSP silicone inlet

Thanks for your interest! We believe our production batch is about one month out. Pricing has not been finalized.
  11. Who’s running a AWE touring exhaust on there FL5 ?

I’d say it is noticeable but pretty minimal. That combination is much more tame than any aftermarket catback would be with the factory downpipe.
  12. Who’s running a AWE touring exhaust on there FL5 ?

They key to maintaining a good exhaust sound (and reasonable volume) with an upgraded downpipe is having a resonated exhaust. Thankfully in the FL5 market many exhausts are offered with a resonated or non-resonated option, which allows you to adjust accordingly for your downpipe, if one decides...
  13. Who’s running a AWE touring exhaust on there FL5 ?

Any aftermarket downpipe (ours included) will make the exhaust sound louder in comparison to using the factory downpipe.
  14. Who’s running a AWE touring exhaust on there FL5 ?

Expect a big difference in sound. Also expect that downpipe in early May if not sooner. :)
  15. No Exhaust Valve Set CEL / MIL?

I wonder if the stored code disables Hondata pop/bangs if enabled? :hmm:
  16. Intercooler Spray Needed

For those chasing the ultimate cooling solutions: https://www.twostepperformance.com/products/pwr-track-spec-radiator-for-2023-honda-civic-type-r-2024-acura-integra-type-s-fl5-de5 An interesting new release from PWR - Triple Pass radiator (not the same as the “original” track spec radiator...
  17. Missed shift 3rd to 2nd with resulting added NVH

I’d bet nothing is wrong but as J_D said, if they pull an overspeed code they will be done with it. That’s Honda’s favorite “get out of warranty card”. I’m not saying a mis-shift should be warrantied but if anything ever comes up they will be quick to reference it.
