It's honestly not that bad. I was also afraid of doing it because I want my car to remain feeling like a street car. I only really notice it at idle with the AC on. If you have Hondata you can increase your idle a little and that helps.
The 1-2 shift is so much better that it's totally worth it.
it just stops the clutch pedal at the actual engagement point vs stock which goes past it. It's literally just thicker plastic. I just also think it will help you with your specific issue as you can move your seat back and also not have to push the pedal in quite as far.
Move the one click back and get the rigid clutch stop from BHJ. Stops the clutch pedal about .5 cm shorter than stock which is probably the same as the click back in the seat.
that happened with me as well. The body shop was able to provide amendments to the estimate and the insurance company paid all of it. It was Progressive.
