The upper SPC/Eibach arm is for camber, and the lower arm (not control arm bucket - the one to the left of the eibach arms in this pic) is for toe. But in reality, everything is connected - you adjust camber or toe and one follows suit. Although yes technically you can adjust camber here too...
Datalogged here with a Turbosmart BOV. LTFT, STFT, AFR (obvious rich condition between shifts but thats not alarming), Injector duty cycle, boost target (torque value stategy on the ECU);etc had no negative effects. Adding an aftermarket intake had more revsions in the tune (though still within...
This is why the Turbosmart Kompact BOV is a popular buy. Its similar to the Tials in its deep woosh/sneeze rather than the fluttery higher pitched SSQV
Completely depends on the specific tire. If we're talking about CRS, I was able to beat tire rack and had them in stock, while Tire Rack told this customer its backordered until August for them, so we won their business.
If the emblem is like any previous Honda emblem, it would involve body work because of the two centering pins in the back. And then the front wouldnt match. I like it with just the emblems, its even and geometric.
Actually just sold another set of CRS-V2 this morning to another fellow Cayman track guy here locally. He prefers it over A052 due to it being a bit more consistent. But me, personally I dont mind A052 falling off a bit and getting greasy - its still predictable to me so net-net A052 still my...
I wish the valve covers weren't plastic because I wanted to powdercoat them the B-series wrinkle red and put on that Spoon cover too (yes I realize I can get it painted wrinkle red too)
The argument I've always used is: real enthusiasts (in any car community, regardless of brand/model) will truly know the difference (and also appreciate said differences). The normies or joe schmoes of the word who aren't car enthusiasts truly don't care/know the difference. Given that the joe...
Same experience from others in our Cayman track group. Vittours arent living up to the hype. Wanted to try them vs my favorite forever tire A052 but not after that feedback from our group
Tire tech has come a long way in the last 20 years. Throw some equivalent PS4S (since they came on the CTR) on the GT and watch that time drop 5 seconds easily
Swapped in some shorter Swift springs to get more lows. Probably will move the LCBJ to the middle setting and go to -3.2 ish camber depending on how the wheels and tires sit when they arrive late summer/early fall. Although right now at -4.1 the front stance looks fantastic, albeit probably a...
Might be minority here, but actually prefer the full on side profile of the DE5 over the FL5. The lines just look better and less bubbly (similar profile to the Audi A3/S3/RS3).
However, no wing was a deal breaker. And also have to match our two other CW CTRs 😂
