  1. Clutch helper spring delete

Not sure a linear pedal is better, probably a lot of variables including (mainly) personal preference. The main thing is I don't want a heavier pedal and I find the action of the stock one totally fine. Cool that this is a tuning option though, too bad it's not easy to reverse. I'm more...
  2. Tegiwa intake comparison/test

Yeah, the intake hissing is unlike anything I'd heard before.
  3. Tegiwa intake comparison/test

Open element filter for the noise win! I love the hissing noises, they are pretty loud when gunning it.
  4. Tegiwa intake comparison/test

As Ac12 said - the cheaper ones, ie the open element ones. It's why I like my Pipercross, it probably loses power in the heat here but I've never noticed that - what I do notice is all the fun sounds. They did chapterize it to make it easier but basically it's almost in order they are shown...
  5. Rev Jump When Upshifting under Hard Acceleration

@Jester04 did you not tune it out or is it not possible? I would have thought this, and the soft rev limiter, would be two things every tune removed TBH. Those are the only reasons I've considered a tune since I don't care about more power really.
  6. Tegiwa intake comparison/test

Would definitely be interesting to see this same comparison but on a car that has more mods like a bigger DP, turbo, etc. I'd love to hear one of the enclosed ones in person and see how they compare to the open style.
  7. Rev Jump When Upshifting under Hard Acceleration

It's rev hang although not how I am used to seeing it, I'd call this "rev flare" personally. Can't stand it.
  8. Tegiwa intake comparison/test

Happy with my Pipercross since I just wanted some good sounds, it was cheap, and it was available a year ago when nothing else was.
  9. Gambit intake kit FL5

Nice job. Not something I would do as fording water is a reality here as well as needing the wiper fluid reservoir.
  10. Disable Adaptive sound system on FL5

Well recommended, I just disconnected it. Takes maybe 30mins total and you don't need to pull the entire upper section out.
  11. +R Mode vs Individual with "aggressive" options selected?

@VLJ well put. I'd also note that the TC systems are pretty darn lenient in this car and, to me, not annoying at all. I can still spin the tires on launch or through a corner, I've only felt power cut twice so far even in the wet. I'm used to slamming that button OFF in my wife's Si because...
  12. +R Mode vs Individual with "aggressive" options selected?

Unplugging the module takes 30mins tops, most of it is refitting the glovebox. There is zero affect on anything other than your ears. I am at about 3.5k miles with mine disconnected. Highly recommended. Joker or other tuners could verify but I'm 99% sure that the +R engine setting and +R...
  13. HEL cooler, Did I bite off to much 😂

Was just going to say the same - since it's in front of you, good opportunity to upgrade it.
  14. Armaspeed Carbon Intake

It's the sexy carbon take on the Pipercross or RAM Air :) I love these, they sound great and any intake is going to heat soak. Hell I don't notice any difference here in Miami.
  15. Extended Range Fuel Tank?

Recent fill up MTE: 201 It's not a lot.
  16. Pipercross Intake

100% does not require a tune. No issues. "A+, would buy again"
  17. Pipercross Intake

    Non-issue for me in Miami.
  18. Aftermarket Radiator Options

I know one thing that seemed pretty easy/inexpensive the FK8 guys run is a reverse flow hose setup, it doesn't add a lot but every little bit helps. https://acuityinstruments.com/products/super-cooler-reverse-flow-silicone-radiator-hoses-for-the-fk8-civic-type-r Additional hood venting?
