Open element filter for the noise win! I love the hissing noises, they are pretty loud when gunning it.

As Ac12 said - the cheaper ones, ie the open element ones. It's why I like my Pipercross, it probably loses power in the heat here but I've never noticed that - what I do notice is all the fun sounds. They did chapterize it to make it easier but basically it's almost in order they are shown...

@Jester04 did you not tune it out or is it not possible? I would have thought this, and the soft rev limiter, would be two things every tune removed TBH. Those are the only reasons I've considered a tune since I don't care about more power really.

Would definitely be interesting to see this same comparison but on a car that has more mods like a bigger DP, turbo, etc. I'd love to hear one of the enclosed ones in person and see how they compare to the open style.

It's rev hang although not how I am used to seeing it, I'd call this "rev flare" personally. Can't stand it.

It's the sexy carbon take on the Pipercross or RAM Air :) I love these, they sound great and any intake is going to heat soak. Hell I don't notice any difference here in Miami.
