  1. What did you do to your FL5 today?

That sounds perfect. I like my Apexi exhaust, but my wife would really like something quieter.
  2. What did you do to your FL5 today?

What's the sound level like on the highway? That's what I have dying to find out from anyone that has one. Especially if you can describe the sound at 3k rpm in 6th (about 80mph). Interior video would be incredible to have.
  3. What did you do to your FL5 today?

I've heard this is not much louder than stock on highway. I'd definitely like to hear thoughts!
  4. Fuel tophat retaining ring tool

Sounds like we have very similar builds
  5. Fuel tophat retaining ring tool

I used a cheap adjustable 3 point adapter and only connected 2 points
  6. Who’s running a AWE touring exhaust on there FL5 ?

I removed my touring because the drone was unbearable and awe told me there was no drone and I obviously installed it incorrectly. i sent them interior videos of me driving at 4am on a dead road with both drone and no drone and they told me the videos were not good enough and any issues are...
  7. Anyone try the 11th gen SPOON springs yet? Or H&R?

I did camber arms anyway. So unfortunately I can't tell you if they were necessary.
  8. Seam sealer cracking on strut tower

My 2024 is also getting cracks on the seam sealing. Not sure if it's actually a concern though.
  9. Which Aftermarket Exhaust Do You Have?

I have the Apexi and my only complaint is it can be loud on the highway if you have the valve open. But it's not droning. I previously had the AWE Touring and it had awful drone and worse support. I really want to experience the Fujitsubo. I've heard it's super quiet on the highway until you get...
  10. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Can't help on shops, but make sure you follow the instructions to a T. And definitely get a crows foot for the fuel pipe. It will make life a lot easier.
  11. Anyone try the 11th gen SPOON springs yet? Or H&R?

I'm running them. It greatly improves the ride quality over stock. And I personally like the drop. It looks like more than 0.7" but I measured and did in fact only drop 0.7".
  12. Clutch options for high HP/TQ

Well I had just under 4000 miles on the car with the stock clutch. And I currently make 456ft-lbs of torque. And I've been at that power level for 2500 miles. The clutch still had life left but you could see on the pressure plate it was starting to slip. While I could have kept driving on it, I...
  13. Clutch options for high HP/TQ

I think the ACT is still a solid choice. I have used ACT on every high HP car I have owned, except this one. Never had any issues with them. Hopefully I don't end up regretting my decision this time.
  14. Clutch options for high HP/TQ

So I have gone on a few drives so far and really the stage 1 feels like stock to me. I don't notice any extra pedal effort. If there is any, it's so minor that I can't tell. Engagement feels like stock and as far as I can tell it's not slipping anymore. I'm not beating on the car or even doing...
  15. What did you do to your FL5 today?

On the FL5 I recall using a 10mm socket with a wrench and extension and needle nose pliers. I think also a 14mm for the shifter knob.
  16. Are these cars actually reliable?

We could call the Honda tech line on the first occurrence of a problem. There was no specific rule regarding when to call, unless it was something like the Odyssey transmissions that used to blow second gear or the civic motors with the porous blocks. In which case we needed the sign off from...
  17. Are these cars actually reliable?

I was a Honda Master Tech for 10 years and this was never the way it worked. Not sure where you got that information from.
  18. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Not the person you asked, but I love my hybrid racing shifter. It makes the throws, especially 1-2 so much shorter. After using it for a few months I couldn't imagine going back to stock slop. I want to get one for my son's Si now because that car has the worst shifter I have ever felt.
