Ain’t nobody named Baby nor Billy here! Sorry I couldn’t resist any longer
  2. New to the expansion tank issue

Yeah that’s what I suggested, and it also works with the OEM cap, just for OP’s info.
  3. New to the expansion tank issue

Or for 60% Origin price and 100% functionality, https://a.co/d/j8Saihv The only aftermarket tank with leaking issues is the Radium one
  4. Borla ATAK Exhaust for FL5

And nothing against Borla, I have one on my other car, clamps and all no issues after 5+ years, but it was also like $800
  5. Borla ATAK Exhaust for FL5

MXP CompRS, I edited my comment to say without front pipe, which theirs is about $280
  6. Borla ATAK Exhaust for FL5

Valved, flanged, stainless 3” is available for around $1200 (not including front pipe)
  7. Which Aftermarket Exhaust Do You Have?

MXP Comp RS, still no complaints, great fitment and great sound: https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/anyone-running-an-mxp-exhaust.53192/post-937814
  8. Pinch Weld Lift Pads - ZL1 vs Versus

The optional slotted blocks was to what I was referring, they would not fit around the folded-over pinch welds. Maybe they are shallow enough to work on the portions not folded over and that’s what you’re talking about. I wasn’t going to say anything, but regarding raising the QJ without...
  9. Pinch Weld Lift Pads - ZL1 vs Versus

100% QJ pinch weld blocks do not fit the folded over kind we have
  10. Rays Forumula FN-II Lug Nut - Opinions Wanted

I’m a fan And it looks like they are still for sale from Blackhawk under different part numbers and named FN-2 instead of FN-ii
  11. Who’s running a AWE touring exhaust on there FL5 ?

I’ve heard the AWE in person and it sounds pretty good from the outside. That said, I’m very happy with the MXP, which is like a copy of the APEXi with an added Helmholtz. Flanged stainless steel 3” and one of the cheapest options, although I haven’t seen more than one or two running it...
  12. Anyone running an MXP Exhaust?

Got some polyurethane 3-hole and epdm hangers to help adjust the tip positioning. The outside holes of the poly hangers are offset from the center so I could flip one to counter the added weight of the Helmholtz resonator on one side. The epdm ones are also a bit shorter than OEM. Super happy...
  13. 27WON FL5 Exhaust System

It seems like the first batch produced is the exhaust that has the midpipe resonator, so that’s what’s available. And they recommend an exhaust without the resonator for being louder with stock DP. I’m betting you can get the resonated exhaust available now and mate it to stock DP.
  14. What is your setup for raising the car up for service?

I got the ZL1 Addons lift pads and they seem to work great on the short Quickjack blocks and the folded over pinch welds on the tall blocks.
  15. Anyone running an MXP Exhaust?

I finally got it installed behind my PRL frontpipe which I had put on in December. From inside, the tone, volume and how it responds to throttle is great, with the windows up or down. Before and with the PRL frontpipe, the stock exhaust was still masked by the bass and vibes from the PRL RMM...
  16. Anyone running an MXP Exhaust?

I got the MXP Comp RS awhile back (I didn’t find Mackin Industries offering any other of their exhaust lines for the FL5), for about $1,150 with free shipping. I weighed the pieces individually for a total of 40.88 lbs. It arrived with some pretty rough machining marks and scratches, possibly...
  17. MXP Comp RS Exhaust for FL5 Now OPEN for Orders

I finally got around to weighing this MXP Comp RS exhaust I picked up, and mine came out to 40.85 lbs. I happened to check if magnetic, the mufflers are but the pipes are not. (From what I know, T409 is magnetic while T304 is not)
