Up for sale is a set of Bonoss Wheel Spacers in 5x120 for the Type-R/ITS. (2) are 20mm and the other (2) are 25mm. This will achieve a flush look as Honda recessed the rear wheels more than the fronts. Spacers are in excellent condition and I had zero rubbing lowered on Spoon Springs.

8.5 +38 is the problem. Tire and wheel is way too sunken in giving the car a daily driver vibe. 18x10 +40 or an 18x9.5 +38 would have been a much better choice for you.
You do not want a 265 tire on a 10” wheel for a “squarer” tire look. 275 with a TW of 200 or lower will achieve that or a 285/295 non-competition tire with a TW of 200+.

Have never done this before (downsizing in wheels from the oem size), but digging the 18"s and meatier tires look. Took about 4.5 months from time of ordering from Garage IMMI (whom did a phenomenal job of keeping me posted on their shipment status) to...
No. As long as they are quality units with proper installation you have nothing to worry about. (22K on a Mustang GT w/ 20mm spacers and 6k on a FL5 w/ 20mm/25mm)
This is insane that these haven't been scooped up - 19" forged Rays WITH tires for $2.9k is the steal of a century! Heck, just the wheels would be worth $3.5k
