  1. I found this on a google search and it is so wise I wanted to share it - from a person I have never met named Steve Brereton.

I agree with the quote and would also add that when considering the ā€œperfectā€ nature of the car from the perspective of all the R&D that goes into the car, the engineers also have to make some pretty basic compromises to keep costs down and my feeling with a specialist car like this is to try to...
  2. Spring rates for coilovers

The main issue with the stock suspension is the combination of relatively soft springs (4.8kg front / 4.4 kg rear) with overly damped dampeners. I find that even in comfort mode though, street driving is comfortable but the moment you start to push it, any surface imperfections cause the car to...
  3. My Gear Shifter Evolution

Just received an email back from Hybrid Racing that the FK8 shifter cables are not compatible with the FL5 and that they will release them at some point
  4. My Gear Shifter Evolution

Have you had any experience, or know anyone who has changed the oem shifter cables for the hybrid stainless steel cables? I can’t seem to find anyone’s experience with it. I know that online they only advertise them as FK8 still
  5. Spring rates for coilovers

Drift King Keiichi Tsuchiya talks extensively about this in his videos. Here is a good video where he goes over various FL5’s with increasing spring rates and gives his impressions. He has so much information about what is actually needed on a track car. I have decided to go with the Spoon KW...

How is the acuity shifter going?
  7. Front Camber Adjustments for 11th Gen?

To answer the question, the cheapest way will be to replace the front lower ball point with an adjustable one from hardrace, white line, j’s racing etc which for the street will be fine and give you probably max 2.5-3 degrees. On track, these will work but due to the high lateral loads and g...
  8. Front Camber Adjustments for 11th Gen?

I went for an alignment after pulling the pins out but what was interesting was that my stock alignment was all over the place. Honestly the camber didn't change all the much but the toe was very asymmetrical. front stock camber was LH -1.43 / RH -1.35 But the toe was LH -2mm / RH + 3.5mm rear...

I’m really interested in your experience of this. I personally plan to do mods that increase the sense of connection with the road (engine mount, rigid collars etc) and increase the tactile experience of the car like the acuity shifter so I would love to hear how you find it

Is this related to the release mid 2025? For people who missed out or has there been another online allocation waiting list?
  11. Australian owners. Integra Type S. ADS Module for CTR.

Picked up my CTR and I’m glad I didn’t pre purchase the ADS module as I’m really enjoying the ride in comfort and sport mode. Even R mode isn’t too bad on nice roads to be honest. Maybe the roads I’m using are pretty good quality but highway driving on comfort mode feels great

  13. Australian owners. Integra Type S. ADS Module for CTR.

I know people in Australia complain about the quality of the roads but compared to the states we have great roads

looks like you are really enjoying your CTR. The Remark looks like a great choice. What else is on the cards in the coming future? I’m going to be taking my to get full body PPF straight away, so many mixed reviews about it, people either love it or hate it so we will see

I did not get this email but when I went in to redo the contract then I got the option to pick accessories. There aren’t as many options compared to if you try to build a car on the American website. They offer the carbon fibre wing for about $5000. There are the usual dealer paint protection...

I went in to sign the contract and it states ā€œETA Nov 2025ā€, no VIN number and awaiting production. I did however choose the internal illumination package 🤣. The US offers way more OEM extras on their website than here. I was contemplating the forged 19 inch wheels but they don’t offer them...

I’ve seen most serious drivers on track keep it in sport mode and still they are getting tossed around like they are on a trampoline. I think if I (as a compete newbie to track racing) can’t tolerate the level of bounce on my first track days then o probably consider it.
