I ran the AWE touring on my DE5 and loved the sound, but damn the rasp/rattle that everyone talked about drove me crazy. I never tried readjusting or refitting it but may consider going the same route on the FL5 and rolling the dice. If I do I'll probably do some spot welds to hold it in place...
Paid MSRP + TTL with little to no effort. Only called one dealership that morning and negotiated over the phone - picked it up that same night. I'd assume with some cross shopping and negotiations you could find one below msrp relatively easily in most areas.
The orchid interior looks amazing - but in my experience, the edges where the black suede material touches the white leather on the seat turns blue.. I'm assuming due to color rubbing off.
Yeah I get it. Got to make some compromises somewhere. I prefer the simplicity of the Honda tbh. I recently got rid of my 2012 TSX wagon at 200K miles. The tech in it was really starting to wear down poorly.
Perfectly put. It's funny - having owned both platforms, and seeing all the online reviews and spec sheet readers online.. these cars are literally the same thing but different flavors for different folks/uses. I could interchangeably go from one to the other with no hesitation. I do miss the...
Yeah I'm not impressed with the current knob haha. Overland Design is pricey... but so worth it.

I'm okay with the suspension set up honestly. But I do plan on changing the shift knob to the one that's on the type s, and getting the overland designs alcantara center console (did the same swap on the integra).
Ironically, the only reason I got the DE5 to begin with was because the FL5's had mark-ups about 2 years ago when I first started looking lol. After driving both, I can see the justified pricing on the integra. I had it for a little over a year - seats were meh but sound system, interior look...
Sold my DE5 a few months ago.. two months later, I missed the driving experience and found my dream FL5 in RED so I had to pull the trigger. To the dark side - we'll see how long it stays stock. Every car I tell myself I'm keeping it OEM and it doesn't seem to stay that way for long so I'm not...
FL5 distant cousin ;) wheels purchased from @System Motorsports (highly recommend them).
Haven't seen too many FL5's/DE5's running this wheel so wanted to share - hope this helps with your decision making. Spent way too much time than I care to admit going through this thread before purchasing...
