I'm with you on this one. Been looking (and still is) on someone with a turbo upgrade on a CVT and Ktuner base map to see a before and after difference. Looking for the track specifically or a dyno plot to see the power difference throughout the power range. Thanks for posting what I've been...
I've updated Ktuner on my results but haven't posted to the forums about this.
I will say the car runs with ZERO issues. Been running like this for a few months to be absolutely sure. No check engine lights, no hiccups, no anything. Runs at idle, around town and wide open throttle without...
Slow and it's all my fault. Long work hours (88hrs last week and possibly 72 this week) and just getting my laptop back like 4 days ago (Hard drive erased and Windows Re-installed). I literally installed the Race maf/tubing and uploaded the first tune moments ago and will be datalogging...
I should've been clearer. I have it on my laptop and have used it for years. My laptop just being goofy right now. So will be looking to get the handheld unit like most people have now.
I installed the PRL CAI a little earlier. Drove it around a bit to make sure everything is cool. No problem, no issues! Fired up my old school laptop with the Ktuner program installed and for some reason, it can't make an internet connection. Guess I'll have to 'get with the program' and...
I did look into this late last year when all the buzz was being talked about it. I only had one e85 station near me and was told most of the time they don't have it. I was looking into it to beat MadMatt's 1/4 mile time on street tires.
Delaware E85
Taking baby steps for now. ;)
I always try to get the most out of what I got. Most of the time, I barely go beyond intake, exhaust, a tune and wheel modifications. They almost always are sufficient. Not looking for more torque on the lowend either. Anything to enhance the topend though is a great bonus but not too...
PRL doesn't goof around. The Race maf arrived a few hours ago. Thanks PRL! In the meantime, I'll get the PRL CAI installed and then will contact Ktuner afterwards. A little premature to contact now. Definitely will be testing the PRL CAI and stock maf vs the Race maf at the dragstrip...
I appreciate the offer and I'll gladly accept it. It was great working with you before. On that note, I just ordered the PRL race maf. Will get in touch once it arrives.
Oh you do? I plan on ordering the PRL race maf setup asap then (Had the CAI for months, just haven't installed it yet). I am using your Stage 2 tune atm. I have a question or two for you before I do though.
Thanks for the write-ups on installation. All of these are very helpful. I'm banking on this intake to knock off 1/10th - 2/10ths off my 1/4 mile time when I get it.l
I am just getting back on the forum after being off for a bit. I have an PRL CAI but never installed it. Before I left the site for a little bit, I could've sworn it was your intake I saw and I was interested in purchasing it. It wasn't for sale yet but it was a perfect design as it was...
@PRL Motorsports Please cancel and refund my order (Charles K Thomas). I've sent the request on your order form but posting here in case you have not received it. My mechanic will be installing all of your other items as of next week. I may re-purchase this intercooler at a later date...
I have a PRL downpipe bolted onto my stock front pipe. The sound is still quiet. No difference than what it sounded like stock. If there is a difference, I have not noticed it.
