Yeah i'm wondering if it's the engine or the turbo lag. I’ve had a turbo car before but this is pretty gutless before boost.
What does the cmc damper bypass do?
Also forgot I have the acuity gas pedal mover. It’s now closer and same level as the brakes.
I was going to do their shifter too...
TOTALLY agree it's not going to be close to my previous cars. I'm ok with that. Just trying to spice this thing up as much as I can. Forgot to mention I have an intake too so at least there's some amusing noises when driving around.
There's not a whole lot of good cars with 4seats/doors...
This car is my extra "fun" car that needs 4 seats in case my dailies ever break down. Usually my fun cars in the past have been 2 seat sports cars (gt3, gt4, gt3rs, r8, 570s, etc) but I've got 2 kids that always need to get driven around these days, hence the 4 seater need. My criteria was...
You can't just push it down. You squeeze it at certain points around the thing and then turn it counterclockwise while pulling it down. Mine came off extremely easy.
does a 10" width support 275 tires? Does an 18" 275 width tire even fit in the front without rubbing on turns?? I definitely plan to drop the car down to about a finger gap at most.
I see so many wheel widths and offsets here and many look identically flush against the fender. Is there a definitive 18" wheel size with exact width and offset that can fit the the widest tire width and sits flush with fender?
That may be true, but not the reason people buy it. I personally don't get it as I went for a normal GT3/RS, I want it to not look like a normal half-the-cost 911.
There's a reason why in the Porsche GT3 world, the touring model (wingless) holds value better than the regular (winged) version of the GT3.
Someone should just 3D print the current base plate and make it more flush with the trunk.
Coming from the Porsche world, CAE shifters are top notch. What's this look like on an FL5 and how much cutting off is there of the cable? Does cutting that part off means you can't return back to using original OEM shifter?
It's doable. I just did it yesterday myself. Took a few hours since I was taking my time. BTW, if you look on youtube you'll see one walkthrough that involves taking out the actual CPU from it's container and the instructions from PRL also suggests that which is not needed. You just take the...
If I knew more about CAD and stuff I'd 3D print a bracket that utilizes the license plate mount that holds a real race car rain light instead, then just tap into the brake light wiring.
This style:

The wiring shows you can tap into the brake...
Did anyone else have a problem with the small metal bracket that attaches to the snorkel not set at the correct angle so you can reattach the existing connector plug? See the circled part in my photo. They’re about 45 degrees apart and the wiring harness doesn’t have enough flexibility to pivot...
I don't know what springs yet. Just doing research on what shops are decent for getting work done on the car. I'd like to get exhaust and suspension work done. Can you DM me the shop name?
