The other Type R I ran with at Cleveland Tour had I think 275/35/19s on the car, he was waiting on his 18" Titan 7 wheels but since they were delayed he bought some take off 19s I think. He also ran at Bristol this last weekend.

I have ECS02 as well, 265/35/18 though as they will be mainly as DD and "rain" tires. They are pretty rounded shoulder and sidewall vs Bridgestone, and since they are 18s, there are just more sidewall vs stock 19s...

Not having square shoulder autoX tires on these the fitment on the car don't look as good as the other ET53 wheels, but probably fine for DD. Interested to see if slightly wider track hurts MPG....

Yeah on my 25k miles a year commute and since these will be used on the daily wheels(that's what the T7 will be for) i think I'm gonna stick with my old tire rack generic close end nuts, same ones i use with my snow wheels...

Also I am assuming its gonna be the same for everyone on this batch of wheels, they threw in center caps, and also a full set of their lug nuts... I haven't used open ended nuts on a street car before, not sure what I feel about those....

Rear bar and tires? Not a whole lot to do unless you really want to move away from factory dampers. Which will be hard to make since most people who do that will go to coil overs so you'll have do something custom with fixed perch in stock location and be able to use stock springs.... Only...

I've used Proclip on every one of my cars since my 2011 GTI. I also use it for autoX data purpose, and haven't had issue of the phone falling off of it(non-magnetic mount though).

I had my snow tires/wheels setup from the FK8 carried over to this car and they are 18x8.5s(ET40). No issue there.

I wrote to OS Giken last week and the reply said the shipments is on the coming boat so they will have more update soon.

Reached out to OS Giken, sounds like the wheels should be in the coming shipment and updates are expected within days...
