One of my sales reps, who claims that his dealership was the #1 Type R dealer in the U.S. (have no way of proving this), told me that they expect to start taking deposits in September. I've bugged him enough that he basically said "When we get one, I'll call you." Haha. Poor guy's probably sick...
Same. I had an ā08 coupe with the K20Z3 and found the engine to be the highlight. I was disappointed when Honda went to the K24 with the 9th gen, to say nothing of the 1.5T in the 10th and 11th. Nothing against them; I just love the old school, high-revving Honda engines that I grew up with.
I typically hate leather-wrapped shift knobs but for some reason donāt mind this one. Probably because it draws out the red in the interior. That being said, Iāll probably stick with aluminum.
I will be very surprised if Honda makes more FL5s than FK8s. The company is still playing catch-up with its pre-Covid numbers. Only time will tell.

I was planning to add these (I prefer carpet mats over rubber, as I live in a mild climate). Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the red mats shown in the launch, but that also means that I want to preserve them.

Agreed, letās wait for the official numbers. Hopefully Honda will provide updates soon.
And Iām not ashamed to admit that mine will be a garage queen regardless! Haha
