That is correct.
They've also stated (back when the Si/CTR was debuted and again a couple years back --if only I could find the sources to back it up) that they are keeping the Si as a sedan and the Type R as a hatch for target market reasons
LX gets the 2.0L NA while the Sport/Sport Tour gets the turbocharged 1.5L. Both engines gets either the new 6MT or the updated CVT
Type R and Si is going to be on sale for the 22/23 year, following the same footsteps/release calendar that happen with the 10th gens
Just took a special PK class on the 11th Gen and got some key things
o Tweaked 2.0L NA
o New idle-stop engine/start-stop system
o New catalyst = lowers emissions
o Updated CVT tranny
o 4-to-2 exhaust manifold, better engine breathing
1.5L Turbo @ 180hp (increase of 6hp from X Gen)...
Don't forget to add PDI on top of everything else and ADM (if applicable)
Honestly the price imo is nothing, yeah there might be $1,000 to $1,200 increase between the two gen but think again it's Honda, not a luxury vehicle.
Presenting your 2017 deal won't mean anything to them, they're not...
