  1. Which color is best?

Your question is unanswerable, because there is no "best" color. Each option will have its proponents and detractors. Different strokes for different folks. Buy what you like. Agreed. Despite my statement above, I think we can agree that ABM is inarguably superior to any other option. I mean...
  2. 2022 Civic HATCHBACK Rear First Revealed Look!

I sincerely appreciate your efforts here, even despite the fact that I will never, ever sleep again.
  3. 2022 Civic HATCHBACK Rear First Revealed Look!

Yeah, I was wondering why no one had commented on this. I have no clue wtf that dude is doing, but for some reason it creeps me out a bit
  4. PRL Motorsports Brings Home a 2022 Honda Civic Touring 1.5L Turbo

Clearly production is ongoing, but who knows what the overall volume looks like? Maybe they're on target, or maybe they're falling way short of anticipated production numbers. It's also the kind of issue that may impact certain trims/features more than others. For example, say one specific chip...
  5. PRL Motorsports Brings Home a 2022 Honda Civic Touring 1.5L Turbo

The chip/semiconductor shortage is real, and global news. Auto manufacturers are getting hit hard.
  6. Its Here! 2022 Honda Civic Sedan Official Pics, Videos and Specs

It's a real thing, though poorly understood. From what I've read, it's less "fear of holes" and more "repulsed by certain types/patterns of holes". Presumably that strip of decorative material over the 11th gen's air vents serves as a trigger, at least for @ludawg94's wife. Honda tried to...
  7. Have a 2022 Civic Touring: Ask Me Anything! 🙋🏻‍♂️

I agree in principle with all of this. I think Honda intentionally toned down the design in an effort to lure in a broader set of customers. That said, I'm withholding final judgment until 1) I see the car in person, and 2) the Si/R treatments are revealed. When I first saw photos of the base...
  8. Si equipment

Correct, except they did add the LEDs to the 2020 Si
  9. 2022 Civic (11th gen) Dashboard, Steering Wheel, Bumpers, Lighting Revealed

Indeed. I think there's a chance, although they may want to keep it an Accord-only feature for now
  10. 2022 Civic (11th gen) Dashboard, Steering Wheel, Bumpers, Lighting Revealed

The renders also show missing panels where buttons/switchgear should be, and missing gauges/vents. Point is, they aren't showing every single feature of the dash. HUD could still be an option for higher trim levels.
  11. 2022 Civic (11th gen) Dashboard, Steering Wheel, Bumpers, Lighting Revealed

...I'm not sure how you could possibly know that at this point. TBD, I'd say. Although imo it's not a make-or-break feature, regardless
  12. Dumb question: civicx.com vs civicxi.com

Yeah, when I mentioned "prolific posters" I was thinking of you specifically (among a couple others). But it seems to be consistent over everyone I recognize from civicx.com. I actually looked at the post history on both sites, but couldn't make any sense of it. I'm sure there's some logic to...
  13. Dumb question: civicx.com vs civicxi.com

I post this strictly out of idle curiosity. Unsurprisingly, I noticed that many civicx users carry over to civicxi.com. But the posting history of those users seems odd. Personally - according to civicx.com - I have posted 323 times. But according to civicxi.com, I've made 202 such comments...
  14. Exclusive: 11th Gen 2022 Civic (Hatchback) Fully Revealed in Official Honda Patent Images

Interesting, I'm honestly unfamiliar with this research. However, most automakers have already committed to EVs...even Honda is shooting for an all-electric lineup by 2025. Currently, that's the direction in which the entire industry is moving. But maybe these fossil-free biofuels are in our...
  15. Exclusive: 11th Gen 2022 Civic (Hatchback) Fully Revealed in Official Honda Patent Images

I can see we're going to have to agree to disagree here, and this line of discussion is going way off-topic. But I'll leave you with a couple of thoughts. Despite the slowing growth in new car sales, the total number of vehicles in use tracks with population growth - over the past 20 years...
  16. Exclusive: 11th Gen 2022 Civic (Hatchback) Fully Revealed in Official Honda Patent Images

That's not how percentages work. Whether it's 900 coupes out of 15,000 total Civics sold, or 9 out of 150 - it's still 6%. So, yes - the sample size may be smaller, but we can certainly count 2020. Even if we don't, there's a clear downward trend in coupe sales from 2016 - 2019. Look, I...
  17. Exclusive: 11th Gen 2022 Civic (Hatchback) Fully Revealed in Official Honda Patent Images

Note that the turbo model @gtman referred to will have a 2.5T motor pushing 250 hp/320 lb ft, and AWD. Sadly, no manual. I don't know if it's going to be good, but one thing it won't be is gutless.
  18. Exclusive: 11th Gen 2022 Civic (Hatchback) Fully Revealed in Official Honda Patent Images

Yes, poor sales. Coupes represented 16% of all Civics sold in 2016. That number dropped to 6% in 2020. For the record, I agree that the 2-door looks better than the sedan. But looks aren't the full story. Personally, I chose a sedan strictly for practicality reasons, as I suspect a lot of other...
  19. WTB Ktuner v2

That sucks. You're not the first victim of a Ktuner-related scam, and sadly you won't be the last. Was the perpetrator someone on this forum? If so, can you share any details, like the photo(s) the guy used? Maybe that will help prevent the scammer from ripping off another unsuspecting member.
