  1. Build & Price for 2022 Civic Hatchback Now Live

But that Jetta is boxy as hell. On the other hand, the new steering wheel is freaking awesome.
  2. 2022 Civic models listed by weight

I still think Honda wasn't seeing the whole picture clearly on this gen. The 10th was a mega hit for a few reasons. One was the styling. Some may say it was over the top but it was popular. Two, it was surprisingly quick, especially the 1.5T models. Three, even with the nice performance, it got...
  3. 2022 Civic Hatchback Pricing Revealed and It Is Very Compelling! Starting at $22,900 MSRP

Honda, at least from my perspective has screwed up in so many ways on this gen. I'm so glad I have a tuned Cosmic Blue 10th gen. I mean, the packaging on Hondas has always been weird but the 11th gen is really weird. Calling the lower powered hatch "Sport" is ridiculous. Maybe LX-S would have...
  4. Why is 11th gen slower than 10th gen?

Actually, and I have the data to back it up, tuned CVTs overall have held up well. Most of the few failures have come from abuse like brake launching or going with a high power flex fuel tune that outputs too much torque down low. My CVT turbo has been tuned for nearly 4 years. Currently...
  5. 2022 Civic Hatchback Pricing Revealed and It Is Very Compelling! Starting at $22,900 MSRP

No doubt. And think about this. The guys who bought 10th gen manual Sport hatches saw a sticker price of $23,300. Now since the closest 11th gen equivalent is the Sport Touring, they're looking at a $29,400 sticker. And with the current climate and crazy dealer pricing, even higher. That's going...
  6. 2022 Civic Hatchback Pricing Revealed and It Is Very Compelling! Starting at $22,900 MSRP

Absolutely hate the fact they dropped the cheaper turbo Sport hatch model. Essentially anyone wanting to opt for a manual/turbo combo has to spend $30k for a Sport Touring model and get all the "fancy" features they may not really want. That was the beauty of the 10th gen Sport hatches. It had...
  7. Why is 11th gen slower than 10th gen?

Keep a couple things in mind though. The Sport hatch tested slower than the 1.5T sedan even when it came out in 2017, long before any ecu tune change. The Sport hatch is heavier, has heavier 18" wheels (compared to the 2016 sedan 17's that were tested) and is less aerodynamic than the sedan.
  8. Confirmed: 2022 Honda Civic Si is Sedan only. Deliveries begin in November

Wasn't sedan only a known thing from months ago?
  9. 27WON Performance Tackles the New 2022 Honda Civic

Honda isn't using it for power gains. It's a mpg/efficiency thing.
  10. Spotted 11th gen Type R in the wild? (no pic :( )

I'll have some of what you're smoking.
  11. Chinese-spec Integra leaked... Actually it's just a revised 2022 Civic Sedan

Gotta love the Chintegra with those oh so sporty 16" wheels.
  12. 1983 Honda Civic 1300 Hatchback 1.3L automatic

You certainly will get a ton of response here in the pricing/buying section of this 11th gen Civic forum.
  13. One Week of Ownership

Amazing review. No doubt this generation is a step up in refinement over the 10th gen. But for my taste, it misses the mark in the wow factor. Plus, each generation this car is grow further and further from it's small car roots and I prefer smaller cars. I don't want an Accord Lite. Say what...
  14. 2022 RHD Civic Sedan unveiled in Thailand: RS-trim, Black & Red interior, Dual chrome exhaust tips, Modulo parts

Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I'm generally a lip spoiler fan, but wow, this thing is fugly as sin.
  15. 2022 RHD Civic Sedan unveiled in Thailand: RS-trim, Black & Red interior, Dual chrome exhaust tips, Modulo parts

The Modulo wing spoiler looks good. The black lip spoiler blows (IMO). Sorry, but that thing is hideous.
  16. 2021 Civic Touring Wheel Weight?

Wow. Maybe that's part of the reason they're a bit slow to 60. With 235/40-18 tires, you're probably looking at 55-56 pounds easily, which is beyond heavy.
  17. What’s new with the 1.5T 11th Gen Honda Civic and why we’re PUMPED

So this kind of confirms it. Where the 2016 power was underrated by Honda, the 2022 stock power seems to be overstated at bit and certainly reduced from the 10th gen. Your numbers, Hondata's numbers and all the road testing pretty much show that. On the other hand, I have no doubt you guys and...
  18. What’s new with the 1.5T 11th Gen Honda Civic and why we’re PUMPED

^ This. Car and Driver, Edmund's etc. were definitely testing the 1.5T. They both were perplexed with the super slow times. Sure the car is the equal to having a passenger in the car heavier than the last gen, but with the supposed power increase that shouldn't take a mid to high 6 second car...
