  1. Looks like US Civic Type R FL5 versions are on their way to shipping...

Cool. See you guys when it arrives. Tired of arguing with mental midgets and people that clearly have intellectual defecits.
  2. Looks like US Civic Type R FL5 versions are on their way to shipping...

You're pretty dense. Read the whole conversation instead of one post. Pretty clear it was joking banter about Tuhroo saying we'd know more next month. Ffs some of you guys don't have a clue.
  3. Looks like US Civic Type R FL5 versions are on their way to shipping...

Yeah, well next next month we'll know even MORE than next month. Take that to the bank.
  4. Looks like US Civic Type R FL5 versions are on their way to shipping...

Ok everyone, Tuhroo promised that we will know "more" in October. Everybody go buy torches and pitchforks just in case!
  5. Backup plans - what's yours?

Just thought I'd be nice and pass along that Frank Brown Honda of Lubbock, TX has a 2022 Civic Si at MSRP. Ask for Deanndra. If you buy it tell me so I can get good mojo for my Type R purchase.

Advan makes some really nice lightweight wheels. The Seeker FK8 runs Advan RS-DF in 18x10 +3.5. Look great and are very light as well.

93 octane tune w no mods saw 350-360whp on the fk8. I'll prob just get that and a nice titanium exhaust for the burbles and weight savings.

  10. Backup plans - what's yours?

Anybody have experience with the ZF8 auto in the new Supra? Wife loves the 3.0, but isn't a manual fan... Beginning to question how bad I want the R if Im going to be within striking distance of the 3.0 Supra price-wise (a car with a MUCH higher tuning ceiling). I know RoidRage and several...

Bad look for Honda. Overpaid employee bonuses and now asking for it back.

QUOTE="pawnstar, post: 832552, member: 11570"] My brother lives in NJ has been going crazy trying to find a TRD Pro Tundra at MSRP. I found him one here in NY but they won't sell to out of state buyers. I wonder if some Honda dealers are doing something similar. That's exactly what I've been...
  14. Best Factory Color - 2023 FL5 Type R 📸Updated Pics📸

Too each their own I guess. But if its CF let it be CF, painted or bare. If it's not, don't pretend it is. If Lamborghini does it on their cars, as expensive as they are, thats lame af. I think the cf wing shape looks good, but i could do without red accents in the weave. Looks stupid.
  15. Best Factory Color - 2023 FL5 Type R 📸Updated Pics📸

A sin on a Type R. Infinitely worse than fake vents. Might as well get red LED lights on the bottom of the vehicle and a Pep Boys intake. Just paint it or don't.
  16. vs GR Corolla

What a snoozer of a forum. Glad this forum doesn't have tons of spam ads every other post.
  17. Official 2023 Civic Type R (FL5) U.S. Specifications Released! 315 hp / 310 lb-ft!

I like the look of the Yaris, its the Corolla that just looks a little more bloated and turd-like to my eyes. I hugely prefer FL5 over FK8. FK8 reminds of the tacking on bits look that Pontiac pulled on their 80s, 90s vehicles
  18. Official 2023 Civic Type R (FL5) U.S. Specifications Released! 315 hp / 310 lb-ft!

Just now saw that its 2/100ths of a second faster than the LE. So literally the wind could blow behind the LE and carry it to victory on the next go round.
