I was hoping so when I got the car. I work at the dealer and my lease was coming to an end on my 19 hatchback and when my 22 showed up I went outside wondering where the good shift knob went!
I didn't remove the boot, I just left it attached to the console trim. The trim is easy to remove with aplastic trim tool, just carefully pry up around the outside edges and it'll come free.
I don’t know about most, but the stock knob that comes in non Si/R manual 10th/11th gen Civics is hideous to me... so I changed it! The console trim on these 11th gens is super easy to remove and put back. I went with the stock knob from a 17 Accord Sport, I feel like it matches the interior...
