A dyno is probably the best way to tell. It's definitely possible that the primary reason Honda did it was to try bridge the gap for the car needing to be quiet in certain scenarios and sporty(louder) in others- and the car needed to fit requirements across a wide range of markets.

Got mine about 2 weeks ago. You'll see a white 24 FL5 occasionally around San Antonio. Road trips to Florida, Chicago, and Canada at different points this year so I'll be all over.
Definitely considering it. Does anyone know if we have to have purchased a Flash Pro ahead of time to get this jailbreak service or can we get the jailbreak done and then buy a Flash Pro later?
If your car is completely stock, an OTS tune is going to give you near as makes no difference the best performance/gains you can get while still being reliable. Once you start doing other modifications, a pro tune(as said above, by someone that knows the platform) will give you superior results.
Had a 2018 Si that was tuned, a 2019 Type R that was tuned, and a 22 Si that I still have that is tuned. 22 Si is a MUCH better car than the 18' Si and I loooved that car.
I am sure this has been asked a billion times and I apologize. As someone who would not be doing the work themselves, what are all the things I would need to buy from the TSP site in order to bring to a shop to have this new clutch installed if/when I need it? (for 11th Gen Si)
Thank you in...
I think there is a pretty good chance Honda will increase the power a bit next gen to keep it around the level of the competition. The 2019 GTI has 228 horses. I don't think we will see anything huge but I think 215 to 225 is possible.
I would agree that weak isn't the right term for CVT. CVTs do an excellent job at what they are designed to do. My argument is all about driver engagement. Stick is more fun than dual clutch which is more fun than a geared automatic which is more fun than a cvt which is more fun than a self...
Maybe once or twice simply due to how quickly it accelerates(and then goes into limp mode). It is a nice gimmick. The day to day doldrums of no engine noise and no shifting would put most car lovers asleep regardless of it being quick in a straight line. There is certainly no shortage of critics...
