  1. Most Aggressive 19 in Wheel and Tire Dimension?

No, the only thing I did was remove the front locating pins. I doubt a 305 width would fit. Other DE5 owners are running 285 width claiming no rubbing at OEM height. I suggest you input your various widths in the ā€œwill they fitā€ site. Then you can at least measure off your current set up and get...
  2. Most Aggressive 19 in Wheel and Tire Dimension?

Ha! Only pics I took of it with that wheel/tire.
  3. Most Aggressive 19 in Wheel and Tire Dimension?

Yes, if I remember correctly it’s the smallest width recommended on a 10.5 wheel. I’ve seen other ITS owners running a 285 on this width and claim no rubbing. Not sure about a 295 fitting in the fender but that is in the recommended range for a 10.5 wheel. On my ITS I had the H&R sport springs...
  4. Most Aggressive 19 in Wheel and Tire Dimension?

If you’re interested in the same wheel but in 18x10.5, +47, gun metal gray with 275/35/18 Bridgestone Potenzas, I have a set with ~ 1000 miles I’m going to sell. Looks are killer but torque steering is evident. PM me, Northern Indiana.
  5. 2024 Acura Integra Type S Observations

For anyone cross shopping the ITS and CTR, I’ve owned both. Traded the ITS in on a ā€˜25 CTR last Saturday. I originally had a deposit on a ā€˜24 CTR @ MSRP at Crown Honda in Holland MI. After over a year of waiting for even a notification from Honda when the dealer would get their first allocation...
  6. DIY: FL5 Lowering Spring Install for Civic Type R [Step By Step]

Just adding a technique to this old thread. Thanks to @bRYANT619 for creating it. I mention this because he kinda touched on the ā€œwobble it back and forthā€ technique which is required but hard to get any movement initially. Once you start prying the knuckle down and get the knuckle down 3/4...
  7. Type R (or soon-to-be Type R) owners, what else did you drive?

I’m 61 so yeah the list is long. But more importantly I don’t feel that old and still enjoy driving an exceptionally engineered vehicle.

  9. 2023 Civic Type R Waitlist / Deposit / Reservations List - Check in here!

Negative, still waiting for their first one. Hopefully it’s CW.
  10. 2023 Civic Type R Waitlist / Deposit / Reservations List - Check in here!

I’m in the same boat. Deposit put down last March for a CW at MSRP. Dealer doesn’t have any allocations. They said they ā€œput in a requestā€ but no confirmation from Honda. I’m hoping I’ll still be able to get it. Any of you fellows that work at Honda dealerships have any insight on my chances of...
  11. Took photos of FL5 Type R media car vs my FK8 (UPDATE: interior pics)

Nice! Side view of the 2 shows the shift in proportions really well. I’m thinking it’s going to feel different on a track. I like the color of the accessory forged wheel(assume). Thanks for posting!
  12. What's in the Box (Heat Sink)??? FL5 Turbo Inlet Pipe Uncovered.

I think it’s a liquid cooled chamber to make the intake air cooler since the turbo housing is directly underneath it. Honda added a air intake temp gauge to the gauge cluster to compliment it.
