  1. Honda Closing UK Swindon Plant in 2022

You f#+#!$g snob. The contempt you show your fellow coworkers is nothing but disgusting. Comparing those hard working people striving to live decent lives and feed their families to monkeys? Who's the real monkey here. Learn some class. You have one ugly soul my man
  2. Honda Closing UK Swindon Plant in 2022

So, mr professor, these British car factory workers are complete buffoons? Maybe you think they are just as well suited and no better than to picking strawberries? And only in possession of a university degree means one has skills in the first place? And every car factory is the same...LOL? So a...
  3. Honda Closing UK Swindon Plant in 2022

This is horrible news for the workers and us consumers. Of all the countries outside Japan I’d rather have build a car, Britain is right up there. Better grab a Type R while they’re still built in the land of Formula 1 by sophisticated, skilled and dedicated auto workers. Where they gonna move...
  4. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Haha me too. I’m always thinking a few inches could be taken out of the rear overhang behind wheels and rear seat legroom. The roof would then sweep back earlier, plus bonus would have a lighter car. But, I have no complaints, as it’s a beautiful car as is :)
  5. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Yes mostly looks. I want a car that’s as sporty and small as possible without getting too uncomfortable(ie Miata), and a coupe fits that nicely. Also it’s my personal fun car to take out at my leasure, and with it I don’t want or require trunk or passenger space. I still consider the Si coupe...
  6. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Yes, the Si does very much trump the 86 in looks and ability. But if it looked like this 2021 rendering, then.... https://www.motor1.com/news/241414/2021-toyota-86-rendered/
  7. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ? The Toyota is a nice car as well, plus right wheel drive and light. Needs slightly more firepower and larger wheels, but still nice. Toyota now has 2 coupes; 86 and Supra. Yeah too bad, seems like this is the last new Honda car I’ll be having. But It’ll be the best kept and...
  8. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Yes those were the days throughout the 90s! My friend at that time stole 10s of thousands$$$ worth of merchandise from his big box store and put nearly every penny into buying and modding his 5th gen Civic hatch. Nice car! His fathers advice; if your gonna steal, steal big son...lol. Ironically...
  9. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

That’s what I hear. Their junky cars just don’t sell in the America’s. But they’ll still be building the sports cars. Gonna focus on suv/truck, electric and no driver autos. The Canadian GM plant getting the axe is just 5 miles away from me
  10. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

A bit off topic:offtopic:, but I wonder if the hillbillies in stockcar racing will be zipping around the oval tracks in SUVs, now that domestic cars are getting axed? Can’t see them switching to socialist foreign cars like Honda Audi etc
  11. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Jesus Christ these Pilot Sport 4s tires are the cats ass! I have them installed on the stock rims and can’t believe it’s the same car, coming from the mediocre GY A/S. Dry grip is jaw dropping and driving in the rain has unbelievable grip and control as well. In big rain, while zipping along at...
  12. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

A 1.7 turbo would be great. Along with a aluminum Type R hood to balance out the weight increase. This car is now all about small incremental refinements, as it's already a solid platform. Oh and while they're refining it, please make the front fake vents functional and ditch the back ones...
  13. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Yes it would be. Either way; more power or lighter car = more expensive. I'd say about 3k Xtra for lighter materials?
  14. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

I actually do think Honda will bump up the Si power slightly. But they would also bump the Type R as well if they were to do that. But bumping up power also raises the price tag and the weight of the motor probably. I'd actually prefer it if the car was instead lightened by using more aluminum...
  15. 11th gen Civic ?

I hear might get plutonium power. They want a giant leap in fuel economy
