Yes it’s an increased knock sensitivity multiplier to keep with the demand at high rpm. Good point thanks. It’s actually incremental on type r ecu. On this ecu I’m not sure if it increases the amount of time the ignition is retarded when knock is detected.
the stock ignition charts will make a...
If your getting knock counts after tune your fuel is more likely insufficient.poor 91 or 93 octane. Knock is not always what you think but noise detected from the engine based upon the level of noise the ecu reduces timing. It doesn’t necessarily mean you have actual knock. The stock settings...
I’m glad I was lucky I guess but I’m running a custom tune. Don’t know if it matters.
The reason I was saying to unpair was so you know your starting from a clean tuning slate. I had this same issue with my zl1 where tunes wouldn’t load correctly. I’d load a known perfect tune and the car would...
What do you mean it doesn’t run that way? Do you mean less power?.
Here’s what I’m going to suggest. This does happen once in a blue moon where an ecu is unable to write data correctly or clear all code info. Ive had this problem with 2 Subaru ecu’s a few GM ECUs and I don’t want to get into VW...
Are you using e30 tune ? Also what mods do you have and what time are you trying to select fir the mod list and what are you selecting for the initial tune?
Unless you clear the code from the ecu it will stay in limp mode. Either try your FlashPro to clear it or disconnect the battery. Just...
Ok so I’ve done my data logging and adjusted not only my timing but I tell you fuel can’t get any easier on this car. This is definitely one thing I love. It’s literally plug the mixture in and go. The one thing I am still getting used to is the use of turbo speed limit instead of waste-gate...
Well good to know considering that’s not even an option on the “other” tuner. No wonder my questions were getting very vague answers. I’m definitely switching now.
Canyou record the data-log for each cylinder in hondata ?
I’ve been told that using a different tuning option. Whom I’m not going to name for the sake of trying to be polite. That the Bosch ecu does not read knock retard or knock control during data logging. I asked about knock count and got the response “as I just mentioned before neither of those...
I have a Mishimoto intake. Invidia catless down pipe. Invidia Catback exhaust and a Mishimoto intercooler with piping. The closest thing I’ve seen in your tuning map options to this is the Full Race product settings. Full Race intercooler and 3” exhaust is one of the options. I’m possibly...
I’m going to guess your waiting for fueling options for stage 2.
There’s no adjustment for any future modifications like injector data and so on.
We don’t have a real 2 step that can build boost. I’m willing to bet there’s a lot of people who’d love a real 2 step.
I’d personally like the...
I’m not being picky but I know the software is limited for the average guy but I’m nit the average guy. There’s a lot if parameters not currently available. What’s going to be available next??
What happened to stage 2 tune like listed on your website? More curiosity on stage 2.
Will we be...
I had quality control issue with mine waiting to see if they are going to make it right. Right now not happy. Pretty much whole exhaust looks extremely low budget assembly right now but I don’t want to post pictures as to ruin the sales. I’m a business man myself.
What about ktuner??!
I heard hondata doesn’t allow emissions code deletion? Is this true? Trying to decide if I’m the future I should be going hondata instead?
I personally think the absolute best thing would be an upgraded shifter cable not the select cable. While upgrading my bushings it was obviously showing movement inside the cable casing during 1-2 3-4 5-6 hence the sloppy drop in. I think a cable is the real solution.
