The wording is asking for member feedback. More support for option 1 will hopefully move the needle for 2027 for us.
And yes, there's 1 SAC member that was protecting the twins for dumb reasons last year over course dependencies :rolleyes1:
Ball joints are legal in ST, so if there's nothing else done to the car that isn't ST legal just say you're using that ruleset for tuner classing. Dumb but allowed that way.
Looking at tour/Pro entries so far this year seems like Supras are carrying the class. Each event through May would only have 3-4 drivers if the Supra moved. Still early in the year though. Also the M2 is about as fast as the Supra with the right driver and maybe course dependency. I think the...
Only issue with moving the supra, is its pretty much carrying BS entries. That goes and there's not enough "other" cars people running to fil it at big events.
Maybe we have a chance at them making GS a 'Hot Hatch' class? Move us, the FK8, GRC, and other FWD/AWD turbo cars there with the...
My
My cars modified and know the risks of what I am doing :). Just making sure its known incase someone cares about it. Maybe someone wouldn't have known and shared that info thinking it was harmless ;).
Just an added FYI on this, the owners manual calls out specifically using Honda MTF, not just a GL-4 or specific weighted oil. If you use anything other than Honda MTF that's grounds for dealers and Corporate to deny warranty claims on your transmission.
It is shitty but I've witnessed this...
Solid Lap! Vmins looks excellent for street tires in pretty much all the turns. I haven't taken my CTR to Sebring yet but countless laps in S2ks and BRZs.
T17 though, try and open up that entry and exit a bit more. Based on the rest of the turns mph, try and shoot for a min around 75mph next...
I'd toss 2 5g VP jugs in the back and just over fill them. 5.5-6G is usually solid in those. Gas station to RRR is only a mile or so. Love RRR, its a great track to learn sweepers and keeping mph up in corners. What kind of lap times you get there with the R there?
I did these for my Apex wheels. The shank fits perfect in the lug holes on the wheels. I run a 5mm spacer up front and these make that feel safe on thread engagement. Overall length from the seat isnt too much of a concern vs number of turns of thread engagement...
Just do 17X8+45 wheels and a 255 tire. Embrace the shift to 3rd. (I assume the big site you're talking about is GCAC). I use to tap the limiter in 3rd there on some courses with my old 19 SI LOL
Yeah, gearing blows on the 20+ and the 22+ is heavier and longer than the 10th gen.
I have 255/35/18’s on my car and 2nd ends about 54mph. Debating trying some 255/40/18’s next go since they’re a bit taller and hit 57 in 2nd. That is about what a 10th gen car does with 255/40/17
Do you have the alignment pics pulled on the top strut? 1.1* feels low if the ball joint adds 1*. You should be .5-.7 with the pins pulled so ~1.5* with the ball joint I would think.
For the MR, did you calculate this yourself or find a source for it? Never seen MR as being over 1, it should be under 1 AFAIK. Then wheel rate is Spring X MR^2. The math isn't mathing for me here. Even if the MR should be flipped, .971 F and .667 R, those don't add up to the wheel rates listed...
It would not be legal. You can pull the front pins and that will gain a couple tenths of a degree and that is it.
You will need to go to STH to get proper camber
