They got insanely loud the last 2,000-3,000 miles I had them on the car. Traction faded proportionally with the increase in noise.
Made a run on the new Michelins last weekend along I-76/81/78 between Harrisburg and Allentown, PA where I averaged 46.7mpg at an average speed of 73mph.
39-40mpg on the highway, 30-33 in the city on the original Goodyear Eagle Sport All Season. Had one memorable run along the PA Turnpike and I-76 drafting off a bunch of UPS tractor-trailers that netted 51 mpg. I've just replaced the OEM tires with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 and while...
There can also be an issue with the data cord. I didn't have one with me the day I picked up the car. The dealer was nice enough to give me one but it was one of those you'd find at the checkout counter at a convenience store. Got the error message you mentioned. Bought a good Anker cable...
Using 87 octane will cost you about 15 horsepower and about 5-6mpg. It also makes the turbo run harder and hotter, shortening its life. I've run one tank in my '19 Si and it was an awful experience. I hated how the car ran. Yeah, 91 octane is expensive but you bought the car because you...
Still running the stock AS Goodyear Eagle Sport on my '19 Si. They aren't shot yet but I suspect they'll need to be replaced in the Spring. Is anyone out there having luck with anything other than the OEM tire? Not tracking the car at all at the moment.
Because the CVT won't handle the output of the Si engine and certainly not the Type R. It wouldn't be cost effective to drop the auto tranny from the Accord in a Civic either. So if you want to get the most out of the CIvic design, its a manual or nothing.
