The previous Civic Type R was generation X as in ten and eXcellent. The nextgen Civic Type R is logical, what comes after X? That’d be Y as in yawn and yuck. :stirthepot:

My new word for this is, “spooring”. A contraction of sporty and boring. Some state XI will be superior to X. That’s a long way off to find out. Let’s go with updated as I think a more reserved design will secure future value in the Gen-X CTR.

Yup, and I like that circle concept because I by chance (what I could get in stock) went with round neon light look tinted OPT7 tail lights. These don’t look Stinger by any means but seem closer look wise than Gen 10 OEM from pics I’ve seen compared to Gen XI.

So this Saab imitation, Accord, Crosseyed-touring version shoulld be called the (wait for it): ..... SAABATOUR! As long as any version Accord with an R in it has same 2L turbo engine, same or few more ponies, it’ll weigh hundreds more and be slower than a CTR. That holds true until the A-TSX...

I consider my ‘19 Type R an nstsnt classic now after seeing next-Gen plans. They are the same body with diff proportion grill openings and a recycled bees ass from the Stinger. For those five A to B appliance owners, the Gen X Type R can go A to H, then lap you twice (AHhh) before you make it to B.

How Kia-Hyundai like, yawn. Will the H be filled in poopy brown on all models and backlit glitter H on Type R? Maybe those brands will next copy Honda Gen X Civic just to be more interesting? Style swapping could be the next big thing. Hey wait, was that a... or ... Not step forward s...
