Hatch/Si and Sedan/Coupe are on separate production schedules. Though the chance of the base sedan debuting this year is less likely due to external economic pressures.
To be fair, the only reason the 8th Gen went 5.5 years was so Honda could decontent the 9th Gen. It was sold as a 2012 model for 1.5 years (and one of the few big dark spots on Honda's record).
Nearly every generation of the Civic has been on a 5 year cycle. And I think until recently, Honda...
I think given the circumstances they may push the sedan to MY 2022.
BUT... assuming they keep their traditional 5 year plan, the 11th Gen's testing is likely near completion. If sales pick back up by late summer, we could see it launch in late Fall.
Right now, it's not looking great. April's...
To be fair, we didn't get much on the 10th Gen until the Summer prior. Most thought Honda would extend the 9th by another year since it was only on the market for 4.5 years. Aside from Geneva's pre-release of the prototype, Honda kept a lid on things fairly good up to the sedan's release in LA...
Sales are still strong but beginning to wean. Part of it is driven by the shift to trucks/SUVs. But I suspect that Honda anticipates a more aggressive drop as the current gen becomes market-saturated.
CN: Good can always be better.
I expect to see a redesigned Civic Sedan by November, in all trims except the Si. I expect the Hatch and Si will follow suit the following year, after completing their own 5 year cycle.
Honda has always followed a 5 year production shift on all Civic generations, except for MY 2011. At that...
I agree. Hybrid has its advantages for shorter trips in city environments. They do not hold a huge advantage (yet) over their TCDI counterparts for both net performance and usability. What they gain in torque/efficiency, they lose in cabin volume and curb weight. Europe is a goldmine for Honda...
The adoption rate will likely be much slower in NA. I would not expect this to trickle down for another decade, at least.
The US has and continues to lead the world in fuel affordability:

Word from Torrance is that the CTR will carry through MY 2021. They are mulling over a limited production trim for the last 6 months of the model cycle as well.
The 11th Gen USDM CTR, while not yet confirmed, is expected to carry over a version of the 2.0T.
On topic, I could see they hybrid...
Even the stock boost guage should show a significantly higher PSI readout above 4K RPMs... at least in 3rd gear and above.
Question: Did you configure the map switching options in the desktop software?
Word from a couple So Cal tuners is that these cars tend to knock a little more on Shell 91. Not sure why. You can try switching to Chevron and see if you notice an improvement. But I might recommend having their tuner looking over your logs first.
I think there are few of us already running Ktuner who'd love to jump on this tune. But aggressive setting on the Rev Hang Delete prevents us from doing so, based on our driving habits (and reasons KTuner mentions in their dedicated thread).
If you guys ever consider offering a version with...
@Two Step Performance - I know we can disable rev hang. But does the tune allow the user to adjust the Rev Hang's throttle padding as well? Sorry if this was already asked.
The shifting issue comes under partial throttle and causes the revs to drop too fast, when rev hang is disabled. Setting the throttle padding to medium or light allows the revs to drop more gradually.
For number 1, you need a laptop to register your VIN with the device, and modify any parameters of your map(s). After that, you can use an Adroid device for most of the functions.
For number 3, I believe TSP advances throttle mapping and boost response. So your mileage will suffer a bit (unless...
