I think we're calling it two different things. It could very well be ACC, i mean two presses on the button, no engine on. Sorry man, sounds like you've tried all this already, that's about all I've got.
Is the key in on position with the engine off? It should be sitting there like you're going to flash a tune, then clear codes. Correct me if I'm wrong but the codes will not clear with the engine on or only in ACC mode.
The U is weird, I've only ever seen P codes. 301 is usually misfire in cylinder 1, but if you're not low on power that won't be the case. Have you tried resetting the codes and seeing if it comes back?
It's just bpv (bvp valve = by valve pass valve), and I'm not saying don't wait for one. Obviously if tuning is not an option sticking with the factory system is definitely the better option. Do you idle your car for even a minute to warm it up? Cause that's 60 entire seconds of running rich. All...
