ALL vehicle manufacturers cater to dealers as they are their customers. They sell the cars they make to wholesalers, aka dealers. That's how they make $$.
It might not be what you or I want, but it is the reality.
Out of curiosity, what do you think of the paint quality? I'm debating on getting an Si as a DD and was in between white & black colors. A dealer around me has a Black one in transit that I'm willing to take a look at but I don't know how the paint quality is and what kind of care/maintenance...
F me for thinking I actually could get one FL5 at MSRP without ADM or BS options if I was willing to wait.
I guess I’m stopping by Penske sometime this week to get some clarification on that.
hopefully I’ll be able to get something in writing
I’m starting to think that dealers don’t have a standardized system for enthusiast cars that have high demands before they become available or they’re unveiled fully. Some have lists, others don’t keep one as they don’t even have pricing info. It’s pretty much a Wild West situation from what...
Penske is the only one that won’t do ADM is what I found out.
called pretty much every dealer in Indy.
Ed Martin Honda - $5k over and $500 refundable deposit. There were 6 people in line as of July 12th
Hare Honda - $5k over and $1k non refundable deposit. 1 person on the list as of July 13th...
I’m 16th in line… LOL.
My expected delivery is December 2024. I’m not in a hurry, I just want one at MSRP.
I don’t mind waiting for the facelift model either as long as no markup or silly dealer mandated “options”
Ah crap, I'm in line on a Penske Honda dealer and was given the same spiel. No ADM.
Here I thought they weren't doing ADMs because of their size. Silly me.
I can't wait to find out what I'll have to pay out the door.
Only dealer in my area (Indianapolis) that would not do $5k markup was Penske Honda, I called 6 in total. I'm 16th in line... LOL
Expected delivery December 2024. I might just wait for the Limited/Final edition version..
