I thought about the GTI cause I wanted a MK7.5 but the buttons being the way they are turned me away. Plus I couldn’t find any MK8’s SE (I think that’s the trim name) trims for under $40k at one point.
I want a hot hatch badly. The Civic just looks the best out of all the offerings currently. If I stepped outside of the hot hatch segment then I would say the new Mustang GT or something I can do off-roading in would be my next consideration. Bronco, more than likely.
I just turned 25 and I’m about to start my mechanical engineering degree journey. I went into truck driving after the military but now I’m ready for school and really just want to be in the automotive industry. I read it’s better to go into mechanical engineering instead of just going straight...
When I finally get mine I’m never selling it. I still want to get one at MSRP though. I’m a college student that works. I couldn’t get the last gen cause I was too young. I’m old enough now to get this generation. I’ll gladly wait for prices to come down.
If the CR-V drives close to as good as the Civic then i’m getting a CR-V Sport and waiting for a Type-R at the same dealership. Unless they get a Si or Sport Touring then yea.
I’m honestly about to wait to get this car until more MSRP only dealerships appear or I see how they do used in two years. I know multiple Ford dealerships (new Mustang coming soon) that sell for MSRP and I’ve seen my share of Acura dealerships selling at MSRP. I’m just about to get a Mustang...
I feel like also a lot of people aren’t mentioning that a recession is possibly in the near future. Not everyone is comfortable spending extra over MSRP. To some it’s not financially smart. Yes it will hold it’s value and be worth more than what you paid but let’s be honest this is still a...
I would say less than 95%. There’s plenty of dealerships willing to sell at MSRP. You just gotta do the research to find them. I’m not settling on finding one for MSRP. Neither will I settle on not finding a Si for MSRP. If you’re patient it’ll come to you.
Not necessarily. Use the list to see who is selling at zero markup or markup you’re comfortable with paying. The dealerships with zero markup are more than likely going to sell the Type R at MSRP.
