I agree with ebhaynz. An evolution of the 10th gen design would have been better, than this snoozefest. I always thought that the current generation Jetta was a handsome car, so I don't mind the comparison to that. Since I'm over 50 now a little bit of maturity in the design is welcome, but...

I don't know about the wing. This styling is so clean that I think it looks better without. Maybe if the wing was at the top of the hatch at the roofline I'd like it better.

I think Honda is leaving a lot of money on the table by not making a hatchback SI, especially now that the coupe is gone. I have an '18 sedan SI, but would have preferred a hatch, and I think the coupe buyers would prefer the hatch over the sedan. I hope that at least they give the SI sedan...

I so wish that they had kept at least a hint of the "lobster claw" taillights. Maybe just wrap the red around the bottom a little.
